in the government or any political subdivision or instrumentality thereof

No, public officials and employees during their incumbency cannot accept employment as
counsel , in any private enterprise regulated, supervised or licensed by their office unless

Willful disobedience of court order
Corruptly appearing as lawyer for a party without authority to do so

If the misconduct is so gross as to show him to be wanting in moral character, honesty, probity
and demeanor

Through the IBP board of Governors moto propio ,Or upon referral by the SC or by the Board of
offices of an IBP chapter.

Clear and convincing evidence, because the profession of an atty is acquired after a long and
laborious study. To deprive him of such honored station in life would result in irreparable injury,
and thus must require proof of the highest degree

To protect the courts and the public from members of the BAR who have become unit or
unworthy to be part of the esteemed and noble profession.
