What are your three most important achievements to date? Why do you consider them important?
1.Ive been serving in Meezan bank since early 2011. Before my joining, due to some administrative lacuna and managerial loop holes. Our branch was not
able to fully utilize resources and was facing difficulty in achieving annual targets preordained and set by higher management. I targeted this lagging area
and was determined to overcome it. I was given a team of 3 business development officers to assist me in this matter. By consistent hard work and
working on new leads, me and my team was not only able to top of the set target at 2.75 billion but Allhamdulillah we closed the year 2012 at 3 billion. In
which I personally contributed deposits worth 200 million and I was awarded letter of appreciation from the branch on this achievement.
2.I have always been a veteran in sports particularly football and have participated in many inter and intra collage competitions but I consider the biggest
achievement in this realm ,when I got the opportunity to head the football team of my collage at the Inter-University Sports Gala 2009 Where teams from
different districts participated and our team qualified for finals and we stood First in that sports battle. By the grace of Allah our team was awarded Gold
Medals by Rector of Lahore School Of Economics.
3.Pakistan was struck by one the most devastating natural catastrophe of all times since its inception in 2005. The northern areas of Pakistan were totally
destroyed by the earthquake. In this dilemma our country was in dire need of assistance both economic and moral. I formulated a team which embodied
me and other associates. We collectively burned the midnight oil and gathered both monetary and non-monetary funds that comprised of liquid cash worth
Rs.5 lacs and eatables, clothing, disposable camps and preliminary medicines for the earthquake affectees. We headed towards the affected areas with
our assets and personally delivered them to the authorities in order to contribute our share in lessening the grievance.

unfaltering commitment to the ideals of intellectual rigor, character building, value addition in excellent academic research and education, it is specially
tailored to meet the needs of aspirants of business sector management like me. The rousing Executive development center will provide me with the
practical experience of the issues faced by the industry in the future. As far as my career prospects are concerned. It will inculcate in me the didactic as
well as the innovative ability to make both efficient and effective decisions in challenging and uncertain situations of diurnal management. My stay here in
LUMS will not only benefit me in my career development but will also enable me to win the laurels for my alma mater when I will service in the corporate
sector.
LUMS Masters in administration will allow me to widen my horizon of knowledge and will also enable me to progress in my career. Its practical dimensions
will inculcate in my more task related expertise and will nourish in me the ability to face the challenging situations of the corporate governance as this
masters is specially designed to embed those skills in students which are vital for todays managers in the global economy of mundane world.

I am currently employed with Meezan Bank the premier Islamic bank of Pakistan. It is one the fastest growing banks in the banking industry. With over
300+ branches across Pakistan. In only as little as 10 years time the group has grown from an investment house to a commercial bank.
I was selected in the MBL TO program and attended a 2 month classroom training course. In which I was trained in Shariah compliant banking after my
training. I joined the marketing department of Meezan Bank. Working in the capacity of a Personal Banking officer as it gave me a kaleidoscopic view of
the financial institution and marketing of Shariah compliant products. My responsibility includes deepening existing relations the bank has with its client
and also bringing in new customer portfolios. In addition it is my duty to provide service to walk in clients and cross selling to them the various other
products like investments in term certificates, house financing, car leasing and laptop leasing etc. Furthermore I am the in charge of 3 sales personal who
are required to do field work and bring in new customers from the market, then it is my job to facilitate them by providing solutions to their various banking
needs. It is also in my duties to make sure that the sales personal's deposit targets are achieved. If not then managing and directing them towards
potential leads so that they end up in the positive zone as well.
In the year 2011 management recognizing potential in the market raised the target bar from 2.5 billion to 2.7 billion for the December closing 2012. With
tireless efforts and long working hours we closed at 3 billion Allhamdulilah resulting in massive appraisals and a remarkable appreciation from the higher
management. Apart from that I ended up signing off and completing 6 car leasing case, 3 laptop cases and also contributed in a massive Umrah
program which comprised of 30 people.
Apart from that I contributed in the launch of a new segment in the Banking field know as royal or Premium banking. Me and my team conducted various
researches and conducted interviews with people currently at director level or higher to better understand what exactly are people looking from their banks

and how can we cater to those needs. Recently we also launched a Platinum card for the Premium sector in which I was responsible for negotiating deals
with owners/directors of various shopping outlets and restaurants co-branding with them, persuading them to offer discounts to our clients who pay via
platinum card. With the help of Allah I was able to complete negotiations with 15-20 such businesses. Who were happy to co-brand with us.
