Please provide a summary of why you want to participate in the Vacation

Scholarship Program. *
The main reason why i am interested to join this vacation scholarship program is
because I want to have an experience working in Australia. I hope that those
experience could help me expand my knowledge by working with expert people.
Those experience will not only deepen knowlege but also give lesson to think
sistematically and focus while doing a research. In addition, this program will
greatly improve my English skills especially writing speaking and listening that
will be a great advantage since i am going to take a master degree in chemical
engineering at Melbourne University on Febuary 2014.
Another reason is my dream to become an Australian Citizen and have a career
in Australia,in order to achive that dream I need to have a job that is
corresponding with the major that i am going to take which is Chemical
Engineering.

Please outline your longer-term career aspirations and detail how this program
will help you achieve them.
After I am graduated from my Master Degree, I hope that i can have an
opportunity to join in Chemical Engineering Related Jobs such as Research and
Developement or Process Engineers. This program will not only give me the
experience needed to apply for those jobs but also more importantly give me a
vision on how to work and solve problems in chemical engineering related jobs.
This event is surely will help me during my master degree to understand the real
problem in Chemical Industry and will give me a different point of view while
solving a problem. These experiences is going to be an advantage when applying
for a job, since nowadays companies are prefer to choose experienced workers
other than fresh graduates.

previous skills/knowledge and experience meets the project requirements. *
The reason why this research project interests me because i have a bachelor
degree in Chemical Engineering and have a plan to have a career Chemical
Engineering field. I had an experience working in a laboratory and doing a
research as a university student while doing my final thesis. I also did factory
planning as my thesis in university. I had worked for 1 year and 8 months as a
purchaser in well know paper company, eventhough it was not really connected
with my education background I can adapt and learn quickly. In addition, i have a
great determination towards my goal and not easly distracted. People around
around also consider me as an outgoing person and easily cooperate during task.
