Distinctive Features of the Book

There are several distinctive features of this book. First, our teaching and
training experience inspired us to present the book as learner friendly and a
source of pleasure that magnetize the readers to dive in the study. As a result,
one distinctive feature of the book is that each chapter begins with a
sequential topical coverage. Some chapters relate to instructional design,
management development, employee growth and career management.
Instructional design will give a hand to the trainers and teachers to
disseminate their ideas in a smart manner among their learners. A second
distinctive feature of the book is topic selection. All topics have been
designed and arranged as per demand and requirement of HR people of
modern organizations. Third, the text introduces realism and relevance. We
recognize the significance of HRD in the modern era. Thus, HRD is
introduced in a separate chapter of the book.
Fourth, each chapter lists objectives that highlight what the student
is expected to learn in that chapter. The goal of each chapter is to present
something of value. Finally, we have considered the thirst of HR people and
modern organizations regarding HR solution. It was our intention not to be
an encyclopedia of terms and references to colleagues. Instead we use the
ideas, concepts and practices of colleagues only when they add learning
value to the chapter content. People who are involved in HR profession will
be directly benefited from this book. Especially the form, formats of HR
related issues will fulfill the thirst of HR department and administration desk.
It is anticipated that this book will be helpful to all HR practitioners,
executives, and students who wish to develop their career as HR
professionals.
