Notes
1. Listed data are valid for PN 10 rated valve only.
2. Rated Kv = volume of water in m3/hr that will pass through valve at a given valve opening at a pressure drop of 1 bar.
3. Values may change without notice.
4. Kv-values are based on best data available however no responsibility is assumed for inaccuracies.
5. Allowable flow velocity DN 1200: 3.5 m/s; DN 2000: 2.5 m/s. For higher velocity, please contact factory.
In our factory R&D facilities all our large diameter Dubex valves are modeled and optimized for specific flow conditions with CAD and infinite FEM (Finite Element
Methods) technologies. Latest computer software is also applied to design the castings and to produce the valves with greatest care and efficiency.

Notes
Configurations 1 - 4
The body external and internal and disc (ring) surfaces are covered with a two-pack epoxy coating with a minimum dry layer thickness of 150 micron (6 mill),
color red-brown.
Configurations 5 - 8
The body external is covered with a two-pack epoxy coating with a minimum dry layer thickness of 150 micron (6 mill), color red-brown.
Their body internal surface incl. body seat surface, the disc surface and the seal retaining ring are natural-rubber lined (ebonite). Their bodies always incorporate a fully
dry body design.
This ebonite lining has a Shore (A) hardness of 75, and a layer thickness of min. 3 mm. Alternative lining materials are available on request.
In all 8 configurations, the disc pins are applied in the same material as used for the shafts.
Contact factory for other materials, configurations and options.

Example of DN 1800 combined butterfly check valve for a power station cooling
water system
This unique and proven configuration combines the advantages of the tight shut off butterfly valve with the non slamming action of high end butterfly
valves. Such design is a cost effective alternative to existing pump protection solutions such as traditional swing type check valves, and large and
complex cone type valve.
Specific advantages of the combined butterfly check valve design:
- Power failure to close
- In line adjustable seat
- Controlled closing times in order to avoid water hammer
- In line maintenance
- Quick opening times
- Non rubbing soft seat, enhancing the life time expectation
- Non slamming design
- Fully lined versions available for corrosive services
- Bi-directional tight shut off service
- Custom made
- Available with add on power packs, control panels and cabinets
3. Fabricated design up to DN 1800
For specific applications, such as vacuum
service and buried service steel pipe lines, we
do produce the fabricated Dubex valve design.
It incorporates all advantages of the triple
eccentric resilient seated butterfly valves with
the features of a butt weld valve having identical
wall thicknesses between pipe and valve.
Having equivalent materials ensures proper
welding and avoids cracking due to different
material expansions coefficients.
