has explored the possibilities of fusing art and design
and how this materializes into a fresh new perspective
for interior spaces. Robbyns expertise consists of
collaborations with Operators and Clients to create
exceptional experiences through interior design.
I have worked with designers of world renown that have
allowed me to deal with many aspects of design. Since
2003, I have been working with international developers
on a multitude of projects throughout Asia, Europe,
Africa, North America and the Middle East. Recently
I have concepted various projects for Marcel Wanders
and Philippe Starcks YOO in Hong Kong, Spain, Egypt,
USA, Asia and Germany.

space planning skills and a keen eye for detail.

With his 20 years of working experience, Kelvin is a well

oriented, culturally sensitive designer who can appreciate
and resolve the scope of challenges working on international
projects. Kelvin has worked on a variety of high-profile
projects thought Asia.

Janas comprehensive portfolio includes an eclectic mix of highend hospitality & residential projects within Europe, Asia and the
Middle East as well as a fair share of architecture, exhibition and

MIRA MOON
BOU TIQUE HOTEL , HONG KONG
While working for Marcel Wanders, Robbyn was a part of a team of
designers who developed the concept of Mira Moon hotel for Philippe
Starcks YOO.

Inspired by the legend of an immortal goddess who

dwelt in a mystical moon palace, her only companion
a magical rabbit. The exquisite Mira Moon Hotel
is a beautiful example of the interplay between
mythology and design. Mira Moon Hotel is a trove of
beautiful, surprising and magical objects. Influences
have been drawn from ancient Chinese artefacts
and craftsmanship, fabrics and prints interlaced with
contemporary furnishings.

The exquisite Mira Moon Hotel in Hong Kong, is a

beautiful example of the interplay between mythology
and design. Mira Moon was developed for Philippe
Starkes YOO Design Studio while at Marcel Wanders
studio. The Jaffe Road Hotel is located in the bustling
financial district of Wanchai, Hong Kong and is an
explosions of interesting textures juxtaposed next to
vibrant colours that are inspired by Chinas ancient
history and dynamic culture.

KAMEHA GRAND
BOU TIQUE HOTEL , BONN GERM AN Y
While working for Marcel Wanders, Robbyn was a part of a
team of designers who designed and realised the Kameha
Grand Hotel.

Developed for Marcel Wanders, Kameha Grand is a

high-style luxury resort hotel in Bonn, Germany and
has recently been admitted by the Leading Hotels
of the World (LH&E Group) into its exclusive hotel
association. The hotel consists of 330 rooms, lobby,
three restaurants, spa, garden lounge, library, business
centers, and halls for various social events.

Located on the stunning Rhine River, this resort offer

its guests warm service, exclusivity, and a truly unique
ambience. The Hotel showcases lifestyle design and
spectacular architecture coupled with exceptional
service. It is an oasis of tranquility, a place that is
inspiring and creates free zones for thoughts which
shift between fiction and reality.

While working for Marcel Wanders, Robbyn was a part of a team of
designers who designed and realised the Kameha Bay Portals.

Developed for Marcel Wanders, Kameha Bay Portals a

high-style luxury resort hotel in Majorca, Spain and has
recently been admitted by the Leading Hotels of the World
(LH&E Group) into its exclusive hotel association. The
hotel consists of 33 rooms, lobby, restaurants, medical
spa, garden lounge, library, business centers, and halls for
various social events.

Located on the south coast of the sunny Spanish isle, and

within walking distance of the exclusive yacht harbour
Puerto Portals, this resort will offer its guests warm service,
exclusivity, and a truly unique ambience.

Designed by Robbyn Carter. Crystal Plaza Hotel Located in the heart of
Cairo conjures the feeling one would have when opening a jewel box.

The Hotel conjures the feeling one would have when

opening a jewel box. At once, both fragile and strong, soft
and hard, the interior is a tactile and lush atmosphere; the
perfect setting for your precious objects.

Crystal Plaza is an Apartment-Hotel that consists of 8

Administration Buildings, 33 residential complexes, 2,261
units, pool lounge, lobby, restaurant, spa, garden lounge,
library, business center, and halls for various social events.

THE GALLARIA

Designed by Robbyn Carter. Varied textures and colours harmonize to
create an elegant and sophisticated environment inspired by nature.

The Gallaria is a luxurious array of textures working

in harmony to create an atmosphere of opulence
with attention to the finest details. Varied textures
and colours harmonize to create an elegant and
sophisticated environment inspired by nature. It is
a comforting balance of warm and neutral tones, a
tactile and lush space that offers absolute comfort
within a contemporary and modern aesthetic.

The Gallaria is an Apartment Hotel, Administration

building and public spaces for a developer in Cairo.
Crystal Plaza is built over 22,000 square meters and
consists of a hotel-facility, shopping mall, and 584
residential units and villas ranging in size from 125-350
square meters.

SPA LUCE
SPA , HOLLY WOOD
While at DMJM ROTTET, Robbyn was a part of a team of designers who
realised Spa Luce, a luxury and chic spa located
in the heart of Hollywood, California.

The Spa fuses the inspiration of classic Mediterranean

cultures with stark, modern simplicity to create a
space that transcends centuries while evoking an
ultra-modern white-on-white aesthetic. The interiors
integrate an evocative palette of textures, surfaces and
tonal subtleties that seamlessly incorporate ancient
hand-chiseled Jerusalem stone, petrified wood and
gently undulating sweeps of stucco walls.

Reminiscent of Santorini or Capri design, the modern

refinements include artful waves of casted concrete
panels that produce a contemporary, Californiainspired counterpoint. From chiseled Jerusalem stone
wash basins and mosaic tiles to hand troweled plaster,
attention do detail is the underling theme through
the Spa.
