Narrative Paragraph- tells a short story from beginning to end. It provides insight into the
writer's life concerning an incident that made an impact on the writer.
Parts of a Paragraph- The topic sentence is usually the first sentence in a paragraph. It
introduces the main idea of the paragraph. It indicates to the reader what your paragraph
will be about. Supporting Details-They come after the topic sentence, making up the
body of a paragraph. They give details to develop and support the main idea of the
paragraph. ( supporting facts, details, and examples). Closing/concluding Sentence The
closing sentence is the last sentence in a paragraph. It restates the main idea of your
paragraph.
