Procedure: T shows Ss some items and asks them to say the words aloud.
In pairs, Ss conduct a short exchange:

Procedure: T explains when we use there is/isnt, there are/arent and the Ss have to write
sentences saying what is on Mikes table

Aim: to practice giving short answers (Yes, there is/are. No, there isnt/arent)

Procedure: T asks questions and the Ss have to answer to these questions.
6. Activity 4:
Aim: to pronounce the new words correctly

Procedure: T reads the words, Ss repeat after the teacher
