39

University authority sent me to Uttara bank ltd to take some practical

training which enables me to acquire banking knowledge in practice
though it's too little.
There is no development if there is no financial facility. Banking sector is
more critical factor of economic and socio-economic development. Uttara
bank ltd plays significant role of development as well as socio-economic
development the country. It is also financing different sector as like
business, agro-based industrial units, small and cottage industries etc. For
improving the socio-economic condition of our country.
But overall financial performance of socio-economic development Uttara
Bank Ltd. is not satisfactory. The overage recovery rate of the bank is
very low. The financial solvency both long term and short term are not
fully satisfactory.
The major causes of this condition of financial performance of the bank
are weak management, in efficiency of staff, lack of proper policy, rural
poverty, natural calamities etc. All these causes made the bank as a losing
concern.
I think that these situation is removable by take some effective Steps. If
the bank could able to continue the thread of this change then it will be a
real profitable organization.
