No president who performs his duties faithfully and conscientiously can have any leisure

No matter how old you are now. You are never too young or too old for success or going after what
you want.
There is some president who became not good enough for our country. But we believe it or not, they
have a good contribution for our country. Like our 13th President Joseph Erap Ejercito Estrada and
14th Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. They are the former President in our country.
Joseph Erap Ejercito Estrada previously served as the 13th President of the Philippinesfrom 1998
until 2001. Estrada was the first person in the present Fifth Republican period to be elected both
President and Vice-President. In 2000 he declared an "all-out-war" against the Moro Islamic
Liberation Front and captured its headquarters and other camps. There are some notable
achievement he did: He supporting the passage of the clean air act, strong support to quality

.
But in spike of his contribution there some trials he encountered. On September 12, 2007, the
Sandiganbayan finally gave its decision, finding Estrada not guilty on his perjury case but guilty of
plunder "beyond reasonable doubt." He was thus the first Philippine President who was impeached
and then convicted. His impression for six years, but Joseph Estrada is seeking a full, free, and
unconditional pardon from President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and after almost 7 years of
detention, Joseph Estrada was finally released after the Sandiganbayan promulgated the historical
Resolution. And now the former President Joseph Estrada becomes the Manila City Mayor. It proves
that he did not give up on the trials that he encounter, furthermore he now become a strong Manila
City Mayor.
Our 14th President was President Gloria Arroyo, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (born April 5, 1947) is
a Filipino politician who served as the 14th President of the Philippines from 2001 to 2010.

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is considered the most corrupt Philippine leader in
history. She was not good for our nation but she took so long in the position. But in the end
she encounter more problems. In early 2011 she was diagnosed with cervical spondylosis or
cervical radiculopathy. She was rushed to the St. Luke's Medical Center in Global City Taguig July
25, 2011. Doctors performed a 5 hour spine surgery on June 29, 2011[35] Two more surgeries
occurred in August 2011 which aggravated her hypoparathyroidism. Arroyo was arrested on
November 18, 2011 after a Pasay court issued a warrant of arrest against her, following the filing of a
complaint for electoral sabotage by the Commission on Elections.[37] The arrest warrant was served
at a St. Luke's Medical Center at Taguig where Arroyo had been confined.[38][39] Days earlier,
the Supreme Court had issued a Resolution enjoining attempts by the Department of Justice to
prevent her departure from the Philippines to seek medical treatment overseas. There are more
issue about the former President that proves that she was not became a good
president in our country.
The corruption means the use of legislated powers by government officials for illegitimate private gain.
Corruption started in the Philippines since the time of our colonial era of our invaders and we all know that

corruption is one of the biggest problems in our country yet this is also the problem that is impossible to
solve. Why? Because corruption is very rampant not only in the Government but also in the society. It is
not only done by Political people but it also done by ordinary people thus corruption exists everywhere. ?
Corruption is everywhere. I don't know when will this corruption thing will be gone in our economy since a
lot of Filipino people now a days were infected by this kind of virus and it keeps growing larger and larger.
