Systems, University of Dhaka, and my supervisors at Prime Bank Limited Mr. K .M.
Montasir, Ms Nazneen Jahan & Ms Faria Islam for their kind cooperation. They guided
me in the right direction that helped me enormously in preparing this report efficiently.
They provided overall guidance, support and assistance to the development of work plan
and report outline, data analysis, and writing of this report. All of them carefully reviewed
the draft report and made valuable comments and suggestions that were very helpful for
restructuring and finalizing the report. I acknowledge their contribution and thank both of

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report is entitled Corporate Social Responsibility of Overall Banking Sector in
Bangladesh is an outcome of BBA internship program. This report contains the details of
CSR practice followed by banking sector in Bangladesh.
I have divided this report into four sections. First section contains the background of the
study. In this section I have organized and discussed all my knowledge that I have
gathered about banking during my studies at the Department of Accounting & Information
Systems, University of Dhaka & also provide some articles about social responsibility of
banking sector in Bangladesh Section two will depict the objective & methodology of the
report .Section three will provide some CSR activities of banking sector in Bangladesh.
& Section four I have drawn an overall conclusion.
