sequence" courses in (biological) ANTH (ANTH 38630), BSCI (BSCI 10110, 10120), CHEM

3 hours may optionally be selected from other courses in BSCI, CHEM, GEOL, and PHY.

counted toward the 6 hours which must be selected from the courses listed below.
Credit toward the Basic Sciences is not allowed for:

VIII. WRITING-INTENSIVE COURSE REQUIREMENT


All students must complete, with a grade of C or better, at least one upper-division course designated as "writing
intensive." Courses that are writing intensive have a memo note in the Schedule of Classes stating, "This course is writing
intensive." While the intent is that the requirement be fulfilled within the major department, students may use a writingintensive course in another discipline to fulfill the requirement if permitted by the department/school of their major.
