Description

Panel sndwich para cubiertas prefabricadas, que se fabrica en un proceso continuo; esta
compuesto por un ncleo de espuma rgida de poliuretano y dos caras de acero Ternium
Pintro, ambas caras van adheridas qumicamente en forma continua mediante el propio
ncleo.
Este producto est diseado para cubiertas de una gran diversidad de aplicaciones, es complementado con
una tapajunta que ensambla como clip a presin sobre las crestas laterales, para cubrir la unin
longitudinal hembra-macho y los accesorios de fijacin.
Sandwich Insulating Panel for roofing, manufactured in a continuous process, composed by a rigid polyurethane foam core placed
between two prepainted galvanized steel skins, bonded by chemical reaction between the foam and the skins.
This product is designed as roofing for a wide diversity of applications; its complemented with a joint cover strip that snaps on
side ribs, to cover lengthwise joint and fastening accessories.

De manera opcional se puede suministrar con la cara interior precortada para facilitar su instalacin,
cuando la pieza va a ser traslapada.

Excellent thermal insulation, structural and weathering resistance; easy and fast installation, adaptable to a wide number
of constructive applications.

Recommended minimum slope 5%, maximum slant length 60.0 m.

Roofs with slopes lower than and/or slant lengths longer than recommended are subjected to technical review.

Accreditations

Ternium Multytecho en acabado polister estndar en colores blanco y arena, tanto en acabado liso
como embozado, pueden cumplir si se solicitan bajo consulta tcnica, con los requisitos de composicin
y estndares recomendados por el United States Department of Agiculture (U.S.D.A.).

Ternium Multytecho Standard White and Tan Polyester coating, smooth and embossed finish, can meet if they are required under
technical consult, with USDA recommendations for organic coatings

General Aspects

Diferenciacin con producto de planta Cinega Different product from Cienega Line

El producto Ternium Multytecho no puede ser combinado o traslapado con obras donde se utilizo el
producto Multytecho producido en planta Cinega ya que se pueden presentar diferencias dimensionales
que afecten la instalacin y apariencia. Esto aplica tambin para los accesorios correspondientes.
Ternium Multytecho cannot be combined within same orders or buildings where Cienega produced Multytecho is used, since important
dimensional differences could be present, that lead to affecting installation or appearance. This applies also to corresponding accessories.

Manejo e instalacin Handling and installation

La instalacin y el manejo del panel deber realizarse de acuerdo al manual de instalacin vigente
emitido por Ternium. Un manejo inadecuado puede ocasionar dao permanente al producto y su
desempeo.
Installation and handling shall be performed according to current installation handbook issued by Ternium. Inadequate handling may cause
permanent damage to the product and its performance.

Oxidacin y humedad

El panel no debe presentar oxidacin del sustrato metlico ni oxidacin de viruta de corte (no ms de 10
puntos por panel, mximo 1% del total de los paneles), deber estar libre de humedad atrapada dentro
del empaque en el momento de recepcin del material. No se aceptan reclamos por oxidacin 3 das
despus de recibido el material.
Se recomienda un almacenamiento adecuado, en lugares ventilados, secos. El panel no debe estar
expuesto a altas cantidades de humedad, ya que puede llegar a daar el producto durante su
almacenamiento en un perodo corto de tiempo.
The panel should not have oxidation on the steel substrate neither oxidation because the cutting scrap ( Not more than 10 points per panel,
maximum 1% of the total pieces), shall be free from trapped humidity inside the package by the time of reception. No oxidation claims are
accepted after 3 days of material reception.
Adequate storage (dry and ventilated) is recommended. Panel shall not be exposed to high amounts of humidity, since it might damage
product during storage within short period of time.

Manchas Superficiales

El Panel debe estar libre de manchas superficiales permanentes en el momento del recibo. Se podrn
presentar manchas del tipo residuo de empaque, los cuales podrn ser removidas utilizando alcohol
isoproplico.
Panel should be free of superficial marks during the reception. It could be some packing residual marks, that can be clean using isopropylic
alcohol.

Debido a la naturaleza del proceso de produccin, el flujo tpico de la espuma puede generar algunos
huecos o vacos los cuales no demeritan el funcionamiento aislante o estructural del panel. Defectos
provocados por problemas operativos, como rolado excesivo de espuma (flujo turbulento de espuma que
provoca zonas de baja resistencia, diferente coloracin, composicin no homognea), no debern
presentarse.
Los esfuerzos causados por contraccin y dilatacin debidos al diferencial de temperatura ambiente
exterior e interior pueden causar daos estructurales consultar a diseadores calificados antes de
ordenar.
Because of the production process nature, the typical foam fluid can generate some holes or small caverns, that dont affect the structural and
insulation performance of the panel. Defects produced by operative problems, such excessive rolled foam, different coloration, not homogeny
composition, shouldnt be present.
The stresses produced by the contraction and dilatation because of the temperature changes in the exterior and/or interior environment
could produce structural damages on the panel skins, such as thermal rippling. The client should consult a designer qualified before to
ordering the panels.

Ampollas (Blisters)

No se deber presentar el defecto de Blister debido a fallas inherentes al producto o a su fabricacin.

It shouldnt present the blister defect because of the product or manufacturing failures

El origen del blister se debe principalmente al sobrecalentamiento de la lmina exterior y puede estar
tambin relacionado con daos a la espuma durante el manejo o instalacin. Se deber poner especial
atencin en la seleccin de colores claros y en el manejo e instalacin de acuerdo al manual de instalacin
vigente para evitar la generacin de este defecto.
The blister origin is because a very high temperatures in the exterior sheet and could be produced too because of damages or fractures of the
foam during the handling and installation. It most take special care in the selection of light colors (Such as white and tan) and the handling
and erection should be according the last edition of the installation manual in order to avoid this defect.
