to the electrical, orientation/site layout, and mechanical aspects of the projects.
Conduct site visits to plan the locations of equipment and interconnection to the sites existing
electrical system.
Support multidisciplinary engineering designs which produce the associated details and
construction documents (plans, specifications and estimates) necessary to direct the construction
contractors.
Research and develop industry best practices and design standards.
Interpret site survey data to create complete system designs and submit for internal review.
Use AutoCADLT to create drawings for proposed rooftop and ground-mount systems;
performing ampacity calculations including voltage drop, load flow and short-circuiting, single
line diagrams, PV source and output circuit details, combiner boxes and overcurrent protection
selections.
Provide detailing in AutoCad of various electrical and facility system components.
