Have you ever been physically or mentally hurt by a man/boy, then forced to acce

pt the expression boys will be boys as an excuse?

Have you ever felt a stranger touch/grab your butt as you walk in public?
Have you ever been told that you cannot wear those army pants, because that is n
ot lady-like ?
Have you ever been anxious over a sports event, simply because you know people w
ill judge you by your gender and not your skill?

Have you ever gotten unauthorized absence from P.E. class by your teacher when h
aving swimming-lessons, since you could not participate because of your period?
Have you ever, as a woman, been taught by a guy on how a

real

woman should act?

Have you ever been watching a disney movie as a kid, believing that the only way
to reach success in life is by finding the perfect guy to help you?
Have you ever been catcalled on walking by in the school halls?
Have you ever been stopped from doing what you want because you are a woman?
Have you ever actually been a woman?
If the answer on all of these is yes and you still think feminism is not needed, t
hen go ahead and tell the world! Let everyone know what you think about feminism
!
But if you have not been through the life of a woman, the pressure of having to
act, talk and be a certain way, then I feel as if you have no right to express y
our negative opinions about feminism.
I often like to compare men s anti-feminism with telling a person you have not see
n they are ugly.
Saying feminism is not needed without knowing how it is like being a woman is li
ke telling a person you have never even seen they are ugly, because you have no
valid argument for your statement.
Now, I also want to make clear that feminism is not only for women, we fight for
men s rights as well.
I definitely do not think having to pay for you female date s dinner is right. Nei
ther how society force people to believe that men are not supposed to cry or exp
ress their feelings. I believe in men s rights just as much as I believe in women s,
but the reason it is called feminism is because historically and statically wom
en have always had it worse . That is why the main focus is on the women at the mom
ent, but do not for a second believe that real feminists do not fight for men as
well.
That is a common mistake. Some feminists take it too far by instead almost creatin
g a hatred for men - which is not even feminism. Real feminists believes in equa
lity for all genders (yes, there are more than just men and women), and those wh
o do not should not be considered feminists. Because think about it - if they wo
uld rule the world we will only have the same problem again, but with swapped ge
nders this time.
Unfortunately, those so called feminists have made feminism seem like something ba
d. If only people would do their research before creating ideas like meninism (whi
ch through my eyes seem to be nothing more than a mockery of feminism) they woul
d know that feminism is not for man-hating women, it is for anyone that believes

in equality.
Long story short, if you believe in gender equality, you are a feminist. If you
do not believe in gender equality, you are a sexist. How can that be so hard to
understand?
