Inner Dharmaraja
Mahakala
(Everything) becomes void;
in the sense that all things are
void of inherent existence.
While in a state of Voidness,
from a PAM there arises a lotus
and from a RAM a sun-disc
mandala, on top of which
from a GAM there comes
a white Ganesh with an
elephants face, holding a skullcup in his right hand and a turnip in
his left, lying on his back with his head showing, facing to his right.
On top of him, from a HUM comes a cleaver marked with a HUM,
from which light emanates, annihilating all evil ones. This re-collects and the cleaver together with the seed syllable transform into
Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness, with a body dark blueblack in color, one face, six arms, intensely blazing, extremely wrathful and completely furious. Your facial expression is ever-changing,
your four sharp fangs are bared, your three red, round eyes flash
like lightning and (your face) is completely contorted with wrinkles
of anger. Your yellow-brown hair bristles erect, your moustache
and eyelashes intensely blaze like the fires at the end of time, your tongue
darting about as you roar like thunder the diabolical chortle HA-HA. In
your first right hand you hold a cleaver, in your second a rosary of skulls
and with your third you furiously clatter a damaru made of skulls. In your
first left hand you hold a skullcup with blood, in your second a trident and
in your third a vajra-lasso. The hair on your head is tied up with a blue
snake, you have red ones as adornments above your ears, variegated ones
as adornments on your shoulders, a white one as a choker-necklace, yellow
ones as bracelets, a green one as a hanging necklace and white ones as a sash
and as anklets. You have a moist tiger-skin as a lower garment tied with a
sash of green silk. Your belly bulges greatly and your stocky limbs have an
unbearably bright glare. Five dried human skulls crown your head and you
have a long hanging necklace of fifty moist heads dripping with blood. Your
forehead is smeared all over with vermilion red powder and an Akshobhya
crowns your head. All your arms and legs are extensively adorned with
jingling bells. You wear as a cloak a moist elephant-skin and you stand in
the midst of a huge inferno of flames in a dancing pose with right leg bent
and left outstretched.
Palden Lhamo
To your left, from a
BHYOH comes (Palden
Lhamo, Remati), the
Sole Mother, Lady of
the Desire Realm, with
a body black in color,
one face and two arms, with
your right wielding in the sky
an intensely blazing sword and
your left holding at your heart a
moist skullcup still with its scalp
of hair and filled with blood.
From your gaping mouth your
fangs are bared, and your threeeyed face is completely contorted with wrinkles of anger.
The crown of your black hair
which bristles erect is adorned
with peacock feathers. The upper part of your body is cloaked with a moist
elephant-skin and your lower garment of cloth made from hair is tied with a
black snake as a sash, with thousands of tassels. Your body is adorned with
drops of human blood, streaks of human grease and dabs of the great ashes
(of cremated corpses) and from the center of your navel there shines a sun.
You ride on a mule with a white patch on its forehead and are surrounded
by tens of millions of flesh-eating dakini-witches.
Kshetrapala
In front of Mahakala, in the
midst of countless cannibals, from a KSHIM
comes Kshetra-pala, with
a body dark blue-black
in color, one face and two
arms. Your mouth gapes
open and your fangs are bared,
causing enemies to cry out in
anguish. Your three eyes are
red, round and glare with the
evil-eye at enemies and interferers. In your right hand your
wield in the air a cleaver to cut
the jugular veins of enemies
and interferers, and in your left
hand you hold up a skullcup
with which you feed the blood
from the hearts of enemies and interferers to the mouth of the main figure
(Mahakala). Your yellow-brown hair bristles erect, you are crowned with
dried human skulls, are extremely terrifying and hideous in form. You ride
on a mad black bear and stand in the midst of an extremely fiery blaze of
flames.
Jinamitra
To the right of Mahakala,
on cushions of a lotus, a
sun and a corpse, from
a JIM comes the lordly
Jina-mitra, with a body
maroon in color, with the form
of a yaksha cannibal-spirit, one
face and two arms. With your
right hand you clatter (up in the
air) a damaru made of skulls
and in your left hold up a skullcup of blood.
Takkiraja
To the rear of Mahakala, on
cushions of a lotus, a
sun and a corpse, from a
TAM comes the Yamadevil Takki-raja, with a
body dark blue-black in
color, stealing the lives
of enemies and interferers with
merely a glance. You have one
face and two arms with your
right clattering (up in the air) a
large damaru-type drum make
of skulls, and your left fully outstretched in a threatening mudra.
Trakshad
To the left of Palden Lhamo,
from a TRAG comes
the mara-demon
Trakshad, black, one
face and two arms,
with your right wielding in the
air a lance with a red banner and
your left holding at your heart
a skullcup of blood. You wear a
cloak of blue glossy silk dabbled
with variegated colors and ride
on a horse which is jet-black and
white.
All three of you are extremely
wrathful and terrifying,
and stand in the midst of an
extremely fiery blaze of flames,
each surrounded by an entourage of hundreds of thousands of cannibals
and evil ones.
Beyond all these, in the ten directions are the ten directional protectors
like Indra and so forth. In addition, there is an entourage of the eight great
gods, the eight great naga-serpents, the eight great planet-deities, the four
world-guardians, the twenty-eight constellation-goddesses, the nine great
terrifying ones, the seventy-five protecting Mahakalas of the faction of the
clean, together with hosts of spirits of the Three Realms of existence.
Beyond all these is an army-horde of a sea of oath-bound ones, who feast
on flesh, delight in blood, are merciless, wrathful, fierce, hideous in color,
faces contorted (with wrinkles of anger), bloodshot eyes, mouths gaping,
fangs bared, holding various weapons, able in an instant to draw the lifebreath out of every living creature and completely filling the earth, the sky
and the space between.
The main central figure and everyone in your entourage has a
white OM on his forehead, a red AH on his throat and a blue HUM
at his heart. Rays of blue light from the Hum at my heart in an
instant draw forth to this place the glorious Mahakala and host of
his deities, together with his entourage, from the cremation grounds
of Sil-wai tsal, the Grove of Chills, to the southeast and from the
vicinity of Tzan-dan kang-chig-pa, the Land of Sandalwood Trees.
In the Great Cremation Grounds of the Grove of Chills, in the
center of a mandala blazing like the fires of the Fearsome Eon, is
Mahakala, the great powerful one, surrounded by eight classes
of ogresses and dakini-witches, black and horrible beyond imagination.
Countless black and white goddesses and all appearances of worldly beings
are your slaves. All Three Realms are your entourage. Wiser than all the
haughty, arrogant ones, you flash in an instant like lightning throughout thousands, millions and billions of worlds, smashing to dust hateful
enemies and interferers. We practitioners, who have a close bond with you,
beseech you to remember what you promised before the eyes of the past and
present Buddhas and to come to this place where we continually maintain
this close bond, where the outer, inner and secret reliances are complete
and where there is a mountain-like torma offering cake with an ocean of
blood swirling around it like a sea of nectar. By my faith and your close
bond, please come here, O great Mahakala. I beseech you to come to this
mandala-site. O cannibal-host who are your obedient entourage, such as
Kshetra-pala and so forth, I beseech you to come, O oath-bound ones who
promised to safeguard the teachings.
OM SHRI MAHA-KALA-YE SAPARI-VARA E-HYE-HI.
KSHIM.
(Repeat this syllable many times, visualizing hordes of Mahakalas
and entourage coming from the Cremation Grounds and dancing
over your visualized symbolic ones, clattering their damarus, clanging
their bells and so on).

Requests
At the crown of Mahakalas head comes my kind root Guru, with a body
yellow in color, with the brilliance of hundreds of thousands of suns. In
your right hand you hold at your heart a wish-granting gem and in your left
hand you clasp a golden bell. Sitting with your left leg in the vajra-posture,
you are arrayed with invaluable ornaments of precious jewels. From your
body, which has come from the nature of Vajradhara and all the lineage
Gurus, light-rays emanate, striking Mahakala, whereby he blazes in the
nature of light and bliss. He dances wur-wur sil-sil, and from Mahakalas body light-rays emanate and strike my Guru, so that shimmering
mer-mer in the nature of light, he tolls his bell. My Guru is Mahakala;
Mahakala is my Guru; my Guru and Mahakala become inseparable.

and innumerable tiny Mahakalas emanating from Mahakala, both filling your
body, dancing about inside and clearing out all sickness and harm from your
body).
NA-MO.
From the glorious and holy root and lineage Gurus residing in the ten
directions and the three times, I request inspiration.
From the Yidams together with the hosts of their mandala-deities, I request
inspiration.
From all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, I request inspiration.
From the Vira-Heroes, Virini-Heroines and Yoginis, I request inspiration.

Let there be no impedance to your powers and abilities.
Let there be no postponement in your compassion.
Let your inspiration and blessings have no (discrimination between) near
and far.
Inspire me through the gateways of your unbearably horrid body, speech,
mind, good qualities and enlightening influence.
Inspire me right now!
Inspire me immediately!
Inspire me on this very spot!

body white in color, holding in your right hand a crystal five-spoked vajra

emanated from your heart bring forth in the space before you hosts of deities of vajra body, speech and mind.

Confession
HUM!
O Vajradhara, Glorious Shawari, Maitri, Rahu, Yogi, Ratna and Dharma
Sinha, Dharma Prajna and so on, you eight precious Gurus, pay me heed. I
openly declare and confess that not realizing that the Buddhas of the three
times and Gurus of the lineage, who can grant the hopes, wishes and what
is of benefit for all beings, are all of the Dharmakaya with double purity, I
have come under the sway of understanding them to be worldly.
O hosts of outer, inner and secret deities of body, speech, mind, good
qualities and enlightening influence, please pay me heed. I openly declare
and confess that having entered the gateway of the supreme Mantra Vehicle,
I have acted contrary to the root and branch vows and let them degenerate.
O Six-Armed Mahakala of Deep awareness, with sublime enlightening
influence of power, might and ability, who the moment you are remembered remove all interference and bestow actual attainments without a
truly existent joining or parting, please pay me heed. I openly declare and
confess that having gathered, in cremation grounds, thick forests, on river
islands and in border regions, the outer and inner reliances and material
offerings to bind us closer, I came under the sway of laziness and mental
wandering and did not properly accomplish my retreats, offerings for my
wishes to be fulfilled and making of confession. And especially I openly
declare and confess that concerning the secret reliance and the peerless,
supreme (reliance), namely the Body of Great Bliss of you, my inseparable
Guru and Mahakala, I have not realized with inseparable conviction and
loving respect, that you are the pure Dharmakaya. Ashamed and with a
regretful mind, I openly declare and confess before your eyes, supreme
deities, whatever I have done, under the sway of being confused by a lack of
awareness, that has been contradictory to your body, speech and mind, O
Guru Mahakala and your entourage.
O Kshetra-pala, Jina-mitra, Takki-raja, Trakshad and Remati, ten
directional protectors and (Mahakalas of) the faction of the clean - all you
who act as messengers of the actions of explaining and practicing with deep
awareness, please pay me heed. I openly declare and confess that when
you have unwaveringly enacted your enlightening influence toward me in
accordance with your oaths just as you have promised, I have not presented
14
you at such a time of thanksgiving with an offering tsog of flesh and blood
tormas or with my confident faith. I openly declare and confess that, not
realizing the faults and mistakes because I lack extra-sensory powers, I
have befriended and disclosed the secrets to those who would cause the
teachings to disintegrate and to bodily enemies of the Gurus, instead
of annihilating them with wrathful, violent actions. With remorse and
shame, I openly declare and confess, whatever masses of confused faults
and mistakes I have committed such as letting myself be contaminated
by those who would cause my commitments to generate, engaging with
such ones in conversation and eating meals with them, as well as making
miserly offerings of inferior quality, neglecting to offer you the first portion,
making mistakes in my meditations and mantra-recitations and so on.
Having made this confession in order to cleanse away degenerations and
contaminations, I request you, O Guru Mahakala and your entourage, to
be as patient as a father or a mother for their naughty child and bestow on
me all actual attainments at this time. Although confession and things to
be confessed cannot be aimed at as having true existence, yet, in order to
purify myself of the instincts of the prejudiced thoughts (that would grasp
at such true existence), may I, by strongly confessing to you supreme, holy
and venerable objects, attain Great Bliss.
By this flower of sense organs, piled like a mountain, of the eyes, ears,
noses, tongues and likewise the hearts of evil enemies and interferers, fulfill
my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
By this cloud of smoke of appropriately obtained incense blended from
supreme wrathful ingredients such as poison, blood, mustard seeds, black
gu-gul powder and so on, and set alight with the fiery coals of a cremated
corpse, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
By this butter lamp of the rendered human fat of evil enemies and
interferers, with a wick of cloth made from their hair and set ablaze with a
hungry ghosts fire, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep
Awareness.
By this fragrant liquid of fresh and old blood mixed with camphor,
saturated and blessed with the five nectars and having congealed globules
of human grease, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep
Awareness.
By this ocean of food with hundreds of flavors of black grain, cooked
foods, mashed rice, pastries, radishes and sesame cakes, all mixed with
flesh, blood and bones, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting
Deep Awareness.
By this music of the various booms and crashes of human thighbone
trumpets, small secret drums, clay-pot drums, round drums and large
damaru-type drums made of skulls, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of
Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
By this laid-out display of the flayed skins of enemies and interferers as
canopies covering the sky, the moist intestines of evil ones as hanging ornaments filling the space in between and skeletons covering the ground, fulfill
my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
By this moist elephant-hide, tiger-skin, garland of human heads, the
six types of mudra-ornaments and this smear of vermilion red powder, the
supreme substance of the dakinis, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of QuickActing Deep Awareness.
By this drink of purified, generated and increased Bodhichitta which
generates astounding happiness and is a supreme nectar collecting the
essence of thousands of stimulating intoxicants, fulfill my wishes, O
Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
By these thirteen black steeds with the strength of clouds, able in an
instant to circle the four continents, ample in flesh, with beautiful manes,
ribbons adorning their ears and a stunning moon-like white spot on their
foreheads, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
16
By these thirteen great shaggy yaks covered with long hair as if with
clouds, having sharp and lofty pointed vajra-horns and bellowing with violent roars, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
By these thirteen black sheep with white tufts on their heads, sex organs
unimpaired, four beautifully rippled and well-curved horns and coats of
soft, excellent wool, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep
Awareness.
By these thirteen black garuda-like eagles, shrieking with violent cries,
lightning flashing from their mouths and having vajra-beaks and talons to
tear out the hearts of fiends, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting
Deep Awareness.
By these thirteen black mastiff dogs with white fur by their hearts,
pouncing like bears with wide-opened mouths, fangs bared and a terrifying bark, savagely beautiful with various ornaments, fulfill my wishes, O
Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
Furthermore, by this supreme cloud of actually arrayed and mentally
created seven precious things, five desirable sensory objects, outer and
inner offering substances, the Four Continents, Mount Meru and so on,
fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
By this blood-red torma offering cake piled like a mountain, decorated
with numerous maroon ribbons and blessed by samadhi, mantra and
mudra, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
By this inner reliance of a thunder-like arrow to speed like lightning
to the center of the hearts of enemies and interferers, pliant and straight,
adorned with great vulture-feathers and having a black ribbon hanging
from its shaft inscribed with the life-mantra, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala
of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
By this secret reliance of the heart of a hero killed by weapons in battle,
with the three channels unimpaired, completely filled with powdered
jewels, excellent medicines and (written) mantras, and then generated and
blessed, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness.
By this supreme, peerless reliance of realizing that even though displaying a violent body that could devour the Three Realms, it is an illusion-like
body of appearance and Voidness inseparable from all the root and lineage
Gurus, and thus making plaintive requests, fulfill my wishes, O Mahakala
of Quick-Acting Deep Awareness. Sole Mother, Palden Lhamo, fulfill my
wishes. Four murdering cannibals, fulfill my wishes. Oath-bound Dharmarajas, father and mothers, fulfill my wishes. Sea of oath-bound obedient
servants, fulfill my wishes. Having, together with your entourage, fulfilled
my wishes, restore everything deficient with us yogis and our teachers.
Turn back all adverse conditions and interferences, and please grant, without an exception, all appropriate actual attainments.

your entrusted deeds and make offerings to you now in conjunction with
presently entrusting you with (further) actions. Please enact this enlightening influence entrusted to you.
HUM! I request and beseech you. Bodily enemies of the holy Gurus,
fiends who would cause the teachings to disintegrate and commitments to
generate, black forces of evil as well as mara-demons and interferers who
cause interruptions are causing staunch upholders of the mandalas to leave
them! Some are causing the teachings of the Sage Buddha to disintegrate!
Some are causing interference to the yogis explaining and practicing!
Some are causing the staunch upholders of the wheel of Dharma to fall
apart! We yogis, together with our entourage as well as the monastic community of human-jewels - take care of us! Look after us! Dont let your
strength be weak! For three days never waver from being our guard. For
three nights never waver from being our watchman. Turn back adverse
conditions and bring about conditions that are ever conducive!
From the palace of the expansive Dharmakaya, O Great Deity Mahakala
with your entourage, please accept these appropriately obtained material
offerings to bind us close and turn back for us yogis, our teachers and their
entourage, the evil thoughts and actions of others, as well as bewitching
grasses and bewitching seeds. Turn back the evil spirits bewitching skulls.
Turn back the spinning of Yamas wheel. Turn back the mara-demons
displaying of charts with lines marking victims of intended doom. Turn
back the ogresses bewitching blood. Turn back the red dyes of (the black
magicians of) Zhang-zhung. Turng back the monks bewitching mantras.
Turn back the bewitching horses of the Bon-pos. Turn back the bewitching eggs of the sorcerers. Turn back the interruptions caused by Tirthika
fanatics. Turn back the fiendish disasters brought on by evil mantras. Turn
back calamities instigated through naga-serpents. Turn back the demonic
ghosts plundering like ghouls. Turn back the ghost kings driving us mad.
Turn back the subterranean monsters that come with the
(bad) rishi-planets. Turn back the eighty-four ill omens.
Turn back the three hundred and sixty accidents caused by
ghosts. Turn back nightmares, bad signs, unlucky years,
unlucky months and unlucky days of interference, and the
four hundred and four kinds of sickness. Turn back interruptions caused by dakini-witches, zombies and kings of
the spirit world. BHYOH to all evil-minded ones such as
these, and to all hateful enemies! BHYOH to all harmful
interferers!
HUM! I beseech you to bestow on me at this time all conducive actual
attainments without exception. Cause my following, the teachings and my
wealth to increase, O host of protectors.

Wrathful Actions
(Visualize all enemies between your hands and repeat:)
By having presented this torma offering-cake to you, Guru Mahakala
and your entourage, please free us, O Great Black Mahakala, from those
who belittle and despise the Enlightened State of the Three Precious
Gems, those who criticize the Great Vehicle Mahayana, those who make
schisms within the teachings and cause them to disintegrate, those who vie
against the Gurus bodies and those who hate us yogis. Enemies, interferers - AMUKA MARAYA PHAT! (Clap once, completely smashing these
enemies).

Praises
HUM! I prostrate to you, O Quick-Acting Avalokiteshvara, your feet
with their anklets crush the misleading Ganesh. O Mahakala, Great
Black One with a tiger-skin as a lower garment, you have six arms and are
adorned with snakes as ornaments. In your (first) right hand you hold a
cleaver, in the middle one a rosary and in your lower one a damaru which
you furiously clatter. In your left hands you hold a skullcup, trident-spear
and likewise a lasso which you use to bind. Your wrathful face has fangs
bared, three wrathful eyes and hair blazing erect. Your forehead is smeared
all over with vermilion red powder. The crown of your head is firmly
adorned with a kingly Akshobhya. You wear a long hanging necklace of
fifty human heads dripping with blood, and your head is adorned with five
dried skulls having crowns with jewels. To you, O Glorious Six-Armed
One, who have come from your field to accept this torma, I prostrate and
offer praise. Protect all staunch upholders of the Buddhas teachings.
Praise all staunch upholders of the Enlightened State of the Three Precious Gems. Pacify all unfavorable conditions and interferences for us, our
teachers and their entourage. I beseech you, please, to grant quickly the
actual attainments just as we wish.
BHYOH! In a mandala circle of blazing flames like the first of the eon,
in a palace of black wind swirling, twirling tsub-mar-tsub is the Sole
Mother (Palden Lhamo), Remati, the Lady of the Desire Realm, with a body
black in color like a thunder cloud, head adorned with skulls, a snow-lion
prancing on her right ear, her left hooded with a coiling snake, three eyes
red with anger, mouth agape and fangs bared. To you, O Terrifying Goddess Lha-mo, I offer praise. Your right hand has a blazing sword to cut the
lives of enemies, and your left a moist skullcup with blood from (enemies)
hearts to drink as a sign of victory. The upper part of your body is cloaked
with a flayed human skin tied with a black snake as a cord. Around the
lower part of your body is a moist elephant-hide wrapped with cloth made
of hair. Because you travel throughout all three - the thousand, million,
billion worlds - you ride upon a mule with three legs (on the ground, and
right front one raised), with (a saddle made of) the upper jaw-bones of cannibals spirits, with a club having notches marking your victims of intended
doom tied on in front (and worn in your sash), with black snakes as a bridle
and reins and a sack of plagues (hanging down in front). BHYOH to your
enemies! Please accept this torma offering-cake and free me from enemies
and interferers. Enact without exception the enlightening influence
entrusted to you.
BHYOH! When I have gladly accepted all difficulties and invoked you,
O Sole Mother Remati, dont be slack, dont be slack. When I have set up
my body and life as a target and invoked you, and now when I serve you, O
Sole Mother, do not let your heart be distant. When I have caused an ocean
of blood to swirl and invoked you, and now when called to action, O Sole

Mother, do not let your run be slow. When I have amassed a mountainlike torma offering-cake and invoked you, and now when incited, O Sole
Mother, do not let your strength be weak. O your servant, the mischievous
evil Crocodile-Headed One, free me from enemies and interferers. O your
follower, the Lion-Headed One, cut the jugular vein on fiends who would
cause my commitments to degenerate. O Sole Mother, Palden Lhamo,
together with your entourage, having accepted this torma cake of red flesh
and blood, I beseech you please turn back adverse conditions and interruptions and grant the conducive actual attainments without exception.
HUM! O hosts of messengers obedient to Glorious Mahakala, namely
Kshetra-pala, Jina-mitra, Takki-raja, Trakshad and Remati, you ten
directional protectors, hosts of Mahakalas of the faction of the clean and
oath-bound guardians - all of you, please accept this torma-cake that has
been blessed, and, without ever transgressing your commitments to GuruMahakala, guard and protect the Buddhas teachings. Annihilate into dust,
without exception, all enemies and interferers with hateful and evil minds
toward us yogis, our teachers and their entourage, and cause all conducive
conditions of followers, wealth, explanation and practice, to increase like
the waxing moon.
HUM! BHYOH! O army hosts of a sea of oath-bound ones, cut from
their source all previous enemies, pull out from their roots future enemies
minds, pound to dust all present fiends and plunder all forces of evil spirits
and interferers. Eliminate adverse conditions and interruptions for us,
our teachers and their entourage. Grant the conducive actual attainments
without exception and cause followers, teachings and wealth to increase, O
hosts of oath-bound ones.

Also in the four directions around you on cushions of wrathful buffaloes with extremely sharp horns and hooves are you four great Yamas
- white, yellow, red and pitch-black - each with the face of a wrathful, furious buffalo, extremely haughty with the stance of (right leg) outstretched
and (left) bent, completely adorned with gear from the cremation grounds,
mouth agape, and the base of your eyes totally red. Be like vajra- thunderbolts to destroy the hordes of interferers, and by these praises accomplish
all pacifying, increasing, controlling and wrathful actions.
In short, so long as I have not mastered, for the sake of all living creatures equal to space, the Supreme and Sublime Enlightened State of he
who is renowned throughout all the earth as Manjushri, praised over and
again by all the Victorious Buddhas, for that long may you eagerly accept
with respect the orders of Yamantaka and destroy the black forces of evil as
well as all demons who would strive to rob me of the supreme jewels of the
perfect path.

Things, you are (likewise) the Mother of all the Buddhas. As a wisdombeing, you (act) as all the Buddhas Sons. I prostrate to you, O glorious
Manjushri.
Although in the Dharmakaya there is neither love nor hate, yet in order
to tame all evil ones of the Three Realms without exception, you display the
body of the King of Anger, as a compassionate means. I prostrate to you,
terrifying Bhairava Yamantaka.
Without ever wavering from the state of the Void Sphere of All Things
and with your wrathful body which subdues all who are unruly, you
destroy the rudra egomaniacs who would misuse the teachings. To you, O
Mahakala, I offer prostrations and praise.
O obedient servant of Manjushri, guardian of the teachings, oath-bound
Yamaraja, protector with a terrifying form of one face and two arms, I offer
praise to you.
