TheInternationalSkilledWorkercategoryisforskilledworkerswhowanttoworkandliveinSaskatchewan.Thiscategory
enablestheSINPtonominateindividualswithpostsecondaryeducationandhighskilledworkexperiencethathavethe
education,experience,languageabilityandotherfactorstohelpthemtosuccessfullyestablishandintegrateinto
Saskatchewanslabourmarketandcommunities.

Eligibility
YoumayqualifytoapplyundertheSINPInternationalSkilledWorkerCategoryifyouliveoutsideofCanadaoryouhave
proofoflegalstatusinCanada,youarenotarefugeeclaimantandyoumeetthefollowingcriteria:
Youmustscoreaminimumof60pointsoutof100onthepointassessmentgrid.
Youmusthaveaminimumofoneyearworkexperienceinthepasttenyearsinyourintendedoccupation.
YoumusthaveaminimumlanguagescoreofCanadianLanguageBenchmark(CLB)4.CLB4istheminimum
employersandregulatorybodiesmayrequirehigherlanguagescores.
Ifyourintendedoccupationisinaregulatedprofessionorcompulsoryapprenticeshiptrade,youwillberequiredto
obtainproofofeligibilityforSaskatchewanlicensuretobeabletoworkinthatprofessionbeforeyouapplytothe
SINP.ProofofeligibilityforSaskatchewanlicensurefromtheregulatorybodywillberequiredaspartofyourSINP
application.ToseeifyourintendedoccupationisregulatedinSaskatchewan,gotoIsmyoccupationregulated?.
Youmustprovide:
Anofferofpermanent,fulltimeemploymentinSaskatchewaneitherinanoccupationintheNationalOccupational
Classification(NOC)Matrixlevel"A","B"or"0",orinadesignatedtradeinSaskatchewan.(Pleasenote:Foodand
BeverageServers/PersonsmustapplyundertheHospitalitySectorPilotProjectsubcategory).Toprovideproofof
thisyoumusthaveavalidSINPJobApprovalLetter.

IfyouarenotprovidingaskilledjobofferfromanapprovedSaskatchewanEmployeryoumustmeetallofthe
followingrequirements:

IfyourworkexperienceisinanoccupationthatisregulatedinSaskatchewanandrequiresmandatory(compulsory)
certificationorlicensing,youarerequiredtoobtainproofofeligibilityforSaskatchewanlicensuretobeabletowork
inthatprofessionbeforeyouapplytotheSINP.ProofofeligibilityforSaskatchewanlicensurefromtheregulatory
bodywillberequiredaspartofyourSINPapplication.ToseeifyouroccupationisregulatedinSaskatchewan,goto

Youmusthaveproofofsettlementfundsandasettlementplan.
