MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 046-2014

CONCURRING GUIFTODA RESOLUTION NO. 01-2014 ALLOCATING THE GUIFTODA
PARADA PRIORITY DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE FUND FOR THEIR PROJECTS FOR
CALENDAR YEAR 2014 IN THE AMOUNT OF PHP166,009.20.

WHEREAS,
this august body was in receipt of GUIFTODA Resolution No. 01-2014,
requesting this august body to concur the same where it allocated the above-cited amount for their
priority development projects;
WHEREAS,
the priority development projects embodied in the said resolution and their
submitted Work and Financial Plan include equipment and machineries for the benefit of this
municipalitys tricycle operators and drivers and which are necessary and/or incidental to the
delivery of transportation services and for the effective and efficient enforcement of traffic laws,
rules and regulations;
WHEREAS,
in due recognition of the continuous and unabated rendition of basic
transportation services of our tricycle operators and drivers for the benefit of our constituents in
terms of transporting goods and passengers, and the importance of maintaining and duly
promoting safety in terms of transportation and improvement of traffic laws, rules and regulations,
the provision of the priority projects cited therein is deemed reasonable;
WHEREAS,
this august body sees no reason not to concur the same, and in fact
believes that the same is beneficial and practical and would address the priority projects in favor of
the Paradas and the tricycle operators and drivers;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in

session assembled, to concur as it hereby concurs GUIFTODA Resolution No. 01-2014, allocating
the GUIFTODA Parada Priority Development Assistance Fund for their Projects for Calendar Year
2014 in the amount of Php166,009.20.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that said GUIFTODA Resolution No. 01-2014 is hereto attached
and marked as Annex A.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the GUIFTODA,
and such other concerned offices/agencies, for their information and appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY on motion of Honorable Councilor Rolando P. Palabrica, and
duly seconded by the members present this 31 st day of March, 2014 during their 11 th Regular
Session.
