Transmission- HV & EHV Substations. Having worked for substantially long period
for various substations projects of different electricity utilities like Saudi Electricity
Company(Saudi Arabia), Kahramaa (Qatar), MEW, Bahrain, ADWEA, Abu Dhabi
etc, the diverse experience has enabled me to be intimately and meticulously
conversant with the concept, commissioning up to the S/S energization i.e.
comprehensive engineering coordination and the rigorous construction of High
Voltage and Extra High Voltage Substations of 110 kV, 132 kV, 220 kV up to 380 kV
voltage levels and Electrical Power Transmission Networks, Standards and
Specifications, standard practices and various application systems of the routine
activities
of
the
electricity
utilities.

with
ETAP.
I can Review and Supervise installation, testing and commissioning, parameters &
function tests of the Substation Equipment & Schemes including the followingHV & EHV GIS, Circuit Breakers, Isolator/Disconnect Switches, Earthing Switches,
BusBar Tests, CTs, VTs,
-Interlocking Schemes
-Synchronization (Synchronizing) Schemes
-Scheme Checks for GIS, MV Switchgear,
- Complete Coordination for implementation of SAS(Substation Automation System )
-Complete Coordination with Remote Ends for Protection Scheme Tests
-Complete Coordination with LDC for SCADA Testing

Power Transformers, Auxiliary Supply, System & Substation Earthing, Meters,

Battery Chargers and Battery Banks, MV Switchgear including some Protection
Relays,
-AVR Scheme for Power Transformer Banks,
HV & EHV Power Cables, raceways & ladders, Laying, Testing etc.
In addition to the above my work profile includes,
projects execution coordination, schedules & progress & management, engineering
& design review & coordination for HV & EHV Substations spanning Insulation
Coordination, Short Circuit Studies, Earthing, Substation Layouts, SLDs/OLDs,
interface etc.
