Props Roster I

This is a collection of items to provide additional colour to a Shadowrun game. There is no

particular theme and they're not intended to be of world-altering significance just interesting
possessions of NPCs, items in corporate lobbies and unusual rewards.

Inazo's Daish, Weapon Foci

Description:Amatchedpairofbeautifullycraftedjapaneseswords,thebladeofthelargernearly
about70cmlong,theshorterabout40cmlong.Thehandlesareinlaidwithivoryandlaquered
ebonyandjade,entwinedwithsomegoldenorangethreadsthatseemtosparklenomatterwhatthe
light.Thescabbardissomeburnishedredwoodinlaidwithgold.Whendrawn,thebladesshinelike
Astralsilver,flawlesstothehumaneyeanddeathlysharp.
Background:Thesebeautifulweapons,incorporatingorichalcumandradicalsilver,weremadeby
HayaoTakeuchi,anawakenedcraftsmanfromHokaido,in2054.commissionedbytheKawa
CorporationasagifttotheCEOofRenraku,InazoAneki.Atthetime,theKawacorporationwasin
negotiatiationstobeboughtoutbyRenrakuina'whiteknight'deal.Duetocomplicationsthisnever
happenedhowever,andthegiftwasnevergiven.Theswordswerelaterreceivedbythecorp's
creditorsaspartofaliquidationsettlement.Theswordshaveneverbeensoldontheopenmarket,
butareasonableexpectationwouldbeforthemtofetch110,000.ormoreifsoldinopenauction
throughareputabledealer.

Description:Alongstaff(aboutfivefoot)carvedofsomedark,unidentifiedwood,woundwiththe
unmistakableorangegoldoforichalcumthreadsandblackhieroglyphsburntintothewood.The
headofthestaffisacarvedrepresentationofaneye,paintedinwhitewithanazureirisanda
crudelyroundblackpupil.
Background:TheArmofHorusisapotentfocus,craftedbyanmagicianandworshipperofthe
ancientEgyptianpantheon,calledfromCairo.Themagician,calledJamus,wasexecutedbythe
Egyptiangovernmentforsubversiveteaching,andthefocusshouldintheoryhavebeenburned.
However,itappearstohaveresurfacedonthecriminalmarketfarfromitsoriginalhomelands.The
staffisanaspectedfocus,requiringaritualtoactivateiteachmorning(thisdoesnoteffectthe
normalprocessorrestrictionsofbonding).Fortunately,thoughthemakerisdead,thisprocesshas
beendivinedbyasubsequentmagiciananddependingonthecircumstancesofacquisition,
instructionsmaybeprovidedwiththestaffalongwiththerequiredinstrumentofactivation.
Toactivate(orkeepactive)thefocus,ashortprayermustbemadetoHorusinthepresenceofthe
staff(remotelinkssuchastrideoorastralmanifestationarenotvalid)accompaniedbytheplaying
ofasistrum(anEgyptianpercussioninstrument)byawoman.Thebondedmagicianneednotbethe
onetouttertheprayer,nordoesthelanguageoftheprayermatterthoughthetranslationmustbe
accurate.Thefocuswillremainactivefora24hourperiodthereafter.Itcanbereactivatedbefore

Heavy Security Toys
These are a selection of powerful security toys for use at the more serious end of corp security.
They're mainly statted out according to the rules in Arsenal. Given that their main purpose in a
game is to either blow up PCs or be blown up by PCs, this roster is a lot lighter on fluff than most
rosters.

Steel Lynx Elite, Upgraded Large Drone

Background:Thefirstruleofcapitalismiswhysellone,whenyoucanhavetwofordoublethe
