Concept
You can close discrete jobs using the Close Discrete Jobs request program and the Close
Discrete Jobs pages. The method you choose depends on your requirements. The Close Discrete
Jobs page enables you to submit and immediately process close transactions, and view jobs
before closing them. The Close Discrete Jobs request program enables you to specify a close
date other than the system date. You can also use a variety of criteria for selecting or excluding
records.
In this topic, you will use the Close Discrete Jobs page to close a job.
