Dialysis fluid filter option

Option HDF Online

The dialysis fluid filter option is used to significantly improve the

quality and purity of the dialysis fluid delivered by the dialysis
machine. In an additional filtration stage, the dialysis fluid is
pumped through the Diacap Ultra dialysis fluid filter to filter
and absorb any microbial impurities from the dialysate.

With the Dialog+ Online version, you can carry out high-volume
hemodiafiltration with substitution solutions manufactured by
the dialysis machine online. The solution is made from the
dialysis fluid that is put through an additional 2-stage filtration
cycle run through two sequentially connected Diacap Ultra
dialysis fluid filters.

Obviously, treatment with ultrapure dialysis fluid has clinical

advantages. Chronic inflammatory processes triggered by
pyrogen impurities (cytokine-induced formation of interleukin,
TNF, 2-microglobulin amyloidosis etc.) are markedly reduced.
This reduction is associated with a positive effect on the patient's general, nutritional and cardiovascular status.

indication for permanent single-needle (SN) dialysis is being
rendered more and more frequently. Hence, the SN cross-over
feature delivers a continuous SN treatment to achieve the
highest efficiency. With Dialog+, three SN procedures are
possible: SN-KK, SN valve, SN cross-over.

Added safety features include the no-nonsense system of

prompts and alarms with the integrated help function, which
gives users clear, unmistakable instructions on how to act.
Additionally, Dialog+ is equipped with a well-structured
emergency management system. In the event of an emergency,
the Bypass and Min UF symbols can be activated instantaneously

The unique SN cross-over procedure: This pressure-pressure

driven double pump SN system is one of a kind. Compared to
conventional SN systems, it helps maintain continuous blood flow
and relatively constant pressure conditions in the dialyzer.
Operation involves simply setting the blood pump rate and
adjusting the pressure limits. Afterwards, the settings are stored
on Dialog+ therapy cards.

Other preventive risk reduction functions include the automatic

dialyzer inlet pressure (PBE) monitoring for secondary
membrane formation in the dialyzer and the early detection of
filter clotting and kinks in the bloodlines that prompt the
initiation of appropriate hemolysis prophylaxis.

ensures dependable monitoring of your patients. Automatically,
accurately and non-invasively, Dialog+ measures blood pressure
using the oscillometric method. This takes a burden off the staff
and enhances safety for your patients.

Option HDF Online

The dialysis fluid filter option is used to significantly improve the

quality and purity of the dialysis fluid delivered by the dialysis
machine. In an additional filtration stage, the dialysis fluid is
pumped through the Diacap Ultra dialysis fluid filter to filter
and absorb any microbial impurities from the dialysate.

With the Dialog+ Online version, you can carry out high-volume
hemodiafiltration with substitution solutions manufactured by
the dialysis machine online. The solution is made from the
dialysis fluid that is put through an additional 2-stage filtration
cycle run through two sequentially connected Diacap Ultra
dialysis fluid filters.

Obviously, treatment with ultrapure dialysis fluid has clinical

advantages. Chronic inflammatory processes triggered by
pyrogen impurities (cytokine-induced formation of interleukin,
TNF, 2-microglobulin amyloidosis etc.) are markedly reduced.
This reduction is associated with a positive effect on the patient's general, nutritional and cardiovascular status.
