1. PROFILE OF PERFECT ENGINEERS

1.1 INTRODUCTION
Perfect Engineers was promoted by R.R Ranghanathen a technocrat in 1975. It was
first started as an ancillary unit to the PSG group of companies. In 1978, the company started
the production of textile machinery spares and complex engineering products called helical
gears. In 1985, the company further diversified into manufacturing of various varieties of
pumps both for domestic and commercial purpose. In 1986, the company became one of the
major suppliers for Crompton Greaves LTD. The company was first named Perfect
Engineering which was later on changed to Perfect Engineers.
Perfect Engineers, is a name which is synonymous with the manufacturing of wide
range of pumps under the brand name "DHARANI" in the domestic market and
PARANAA in the global market. In the 38 years since inception, Perfect Engineers and
group of companies have undergone many a transition from the manufacturing of small
pumps to large size pumps, motors and special products. Having been selected to be a
factored supplier by engineering giants, the company has established a formidable footing
over the years. With world class engineering excellence, consistent remarkable growth has
been recorded throughout the years which is a great achievement.

Founded almost a quarter century ago, the company has carved a niche for itself under
the able guidance of its founder, Mr. C. R. Dharani. Paranaa Pumps & Motors manufactured
by Perfect Group comprises of 5 companies. Perfect group is one of the largest manufacturer
of high quality Pumps & Motors under the brands "PARANAA" & "DHARANI". The group
currently manufactures more than 800,000 units of Pumps & Motors yearly. The companys
reputation for customer service and quality stretches back to the start of the company when it
only sub-contracted to manufacturing of textile machinery spares.
The company has a professional management team having years of experience in this
industry. Engineers are highly efficient and possess wide knowledge about the pumps. The
technical wing of the company is headed by Mr. Mohan Senthil Kumar, technical manager.
The other team members at the unit include quality controllers, R & D experts, marketing
managers, logistics personnel, warehousing & packaging experts and customer care
executives.
The company continually strives to enhance the quality of products and services so as
to offer complete customer satisfaction. Right from the beginning, customer satisfaction was
