Brands included Ponds, Dove, Caress and Lever 2000 cartons, labels and tubes. • Take projects from concept to print. • Attend concept meetings with Art directors, Purchasers, Marketing department and printers. • Ensure delivery of final film separations and digital files for all projects to contracted printers. • Work with printer in setting up the rotations of the inks used on press to maintain customer’s color specs. • Attend press runs with Unilever team to ensure all colors were matched and any special instructions were followed. 3/90 – 5/96 Day Supervisor Katz Digital Inc. | New York City, NY • Supervise the day to day operation of a Graphic Service Bureau. • Responsible for short-run printing department which used Indigo and Heidelberg presses. • Manage day shift consisting of 50 to 75 people. • Work in output department, finishing department, Quality Control and Dispatch. • Heavy client contact on the phone and in person. • Products included Fiery, IrisPrints, Matchprints, Cactus prints, Scanning, Retouching and Mounting and Laminating.
