GOV TIGHTLIPPED ON IPDN RECTOR GRAFT ALLEGATION

Riau Islands Governor Muhammad Sani reportedly had to bribe on graft allegation
involving his son, Hery Ardianto and Suhajar Diantoro, the rector of Institute of
Public Administration (IPDN). Andi Cori Fatahuddin, from the Indonesian
Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) told that he allegedly attempted to bribe
Suhajar with US$10,000 in August so his son could pass the IPDN selection test. He
alleged that he gave a check for Rp 95 million to Sanis son, who he hoped would
push Suhajar to accept his son in the school. Andi said he had four witeness in the
case involving Suhajar and evidence Rp 95 million given to the governors son.he
said that his son had not enrolled in IPDN as the enrollment committee admitted it
was monitored by KPK. Meanwhile, anticorruption activist Novrizal Sadewa urged
law enforcement personnel in the province to investigate. Their active participation
in the case, was urgent to reveal the truth and to make future admission tests at
IPDN free from corruptin, collusion and nepotism.

After reading this article, I get knowledge about so many Indonesian government
officials involved in corruption cases as cases of corruption involving the governor
of Riau Island with IPDN rector. muhammad sani bribe to IPDN rector so that his

careers as high ranking civil servants. to be able to achieve the dream we must

to get into college we want we have to do our best so that we can go without having
to bribe because it is very detrimental to us later. bribery or corruption seems to
have become a culture in Indonesia. it is this which can tarnish the good name of
Indonesia in the eyes of the countries in the world. Law enforces must do something
so that the parties involved can be made accountable.
4. What is the moral value from that article?
corruption can not be resisted, Rampant corruption is a problem that can not be
underestimated. The issue of equal weight with a certain social maturity issue that
has not been achieved. The nation is still weak in dealing with a plurality of the
nation, as well as the tendency of social reactions that are still inclined to use
violence is the proof. Communal violence indicates the handling of conflicts of

interest are essential in developing democratic country that is still hard to handle.
With the expected increase public honesty, officials or parties that have the
potential to misappropriation of state funds more introspective and avoid collusion,
corruption and nepotism.
5. What is your contribution to your nation concerning with that article?
familiarize behave honestly in every aspect of life because if familiarize honest every
day will give you a sense of happiness and tranquility of its own in the soul.
Governments should integrate cooperation between anti-corruption agencies so
that it can more effectively and professional.character education, planting the values
of honesty, and youth empowerment should start from an early age.
