CONNECTION BETWEEN THE OBJECTIVES IN THE CURRICULUM
(RD1513/2006) AND THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS COURSE DESIGN
1. To listen to and understand the messages present in a variety of interactive
verbal situations. The information from the messages will be used in various
clearly stated tasks (obj. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 12, 17, 18).
2. To express ones self and interact verbally in simple familiar situations using
familiar contents. These situations and contents will develop both verbal and
non-verbal features of conversation while focusing on adopting an attitude of
both respect and cooperation (obj. 1, 2, 6, 10, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21).
3. To write different types of texts based on topics and text models that have been
previously dealt with in the classroom. These texts will have as an objective a
variety of final tasks (obj. 4, 8, 11, 13).
4. To read comprehensively a variety of texts pitched at an adequate level in order
to extract both the gist and specific information while having previously set out
the final task (obj. 4, 12, 17, 22).
5. To learn to use, in a progressively autonomous fashion, all means within reach,
including new technologies, to obtain information and communicate in the
foreign language (obj. 5, 16).
6. To value the foreign language as a means of communication and understanding
amongst people coming from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds (obj. 5,
9, 16, 19).
7. To show curiosity as well as a receptive, self-confident attitude in the language
learning process and its application (obj. 6, 7, 9, 15).
8. To use previous knowledge and experiences of other languages to facilitate a
faster, more effective and autonomous language learning acquisition (obj. 5, 11,
15, 17, 20).
9. To know the phonological aspects, rhythm, stress and intonation of the foreign
language and use theses aspects as fundamental elements in aural reception and
oral production (obj. 4, 8, 12, 13).
