WhenJesusspokeinparablesheoftensaid,"Whohathearstohear,letthemhear"because
HeonlywantedGod'schosentohearandunderstandwhatitisHewastryingtoconvey.
ThenshalltherighteousshineforthasthesuninthekingdomoftheirFather.Who
hathearstohear,lethimhear.Matt.13:43
Jesuscomparedthekingdomofheaventoatreasurehiddeninafieldandwhenamanfinds
ithewillgiveupeverythinghehasandbuythatfield.Whenyougetsaved,youknowinyour
heartthatbydoingGod'swillyouwillgettheopportunitytogotoheaven.However,youmust
bewillingtogiveupallthatisstandinginthewayofyouandyourrelationshipwithGodin
ordertogettheopportunitytogotoheavenandbewiththeLord.
Again,thekingdomofheavenislikeuntotreasurehidinafieldthewhichwhenaman
hathfound,hehideth,andforjoythereofgoethandsellethallthathehath,andbuyeth
thatfield.Matt.13:44
Merchantssoughtgoodpearlsbecausetheyfetchagoodpriceandcouldmakethemrich.
TheKingdomofHeaveniscomparedtoamansearchingforthesepreciouspearls.
Again,thekingdomofheavenislikeuntoamerchantman,seekinggoodlypearls:
Matt.13:45
Whenthemanfoundagoodpearlofgreatprice,heknewhesimplyhadtohaveit.He
wantedthepearlsomuchthathegaveupallthatheownedjusttogetit.
Who,whenhehadfoundonepearlofgreatprice,wentandsoldallthathehad,and
boughtit.Matt.13:46

ThenJesuscomparedtheKingdomofheaventoanet,castintotheseatocatchfishofevery
kindwhichindicatesthatpeopleofallnationalities,lifestyles,andbackgroundscangoto
heaven.
Again,thekingdomofheavenislikeuntoanet,thatwascastintothesea,and
gatheredofeverykind:Matt.13:47
NoteveryonewhohearsGod'swordwillbeabletogetintoheaven.Jesustellsofhowthey
willsortthroughthefish,keepthegoodonesandthrowthebadonesaway.
Which,whenitwasfull,theydrewtoshore,andsatdown,andgatheredthegoodinto
vessels,butcastthebadaway.Matt.13:48
Jesustellsusthatintheendoftheworldtheangelswillcomeandsortthroughthepeople,
separatingthegoodonesfromthebadones.
Soshallitbeattheendoftheworld:theangelsshallcomeforth,andseverthewicked
fromamongthejust,Matt.13:49
Thebadpeoplewillbethrownawaybybeingputintoafurnaceoffirewheretherewillbe
wailingandgnashingofteeth.
Andshallcastthemintothefurnaceoffire:thereshallbewailingandgnashingof
teeth.Matt.13:50
AfterJesustoldtheparableofThePearlofGreatPriceHeaskedthemiftheyunderstood
whathemeantandtheyrespondedthattheydidindeedunderstandthemeaningofthe
parable.
Jesussaithuntothem,Haveyeunderstoodallthesethings?Theysayuntohim,Yea,
Lord.Matt.13:51
EveryonewhoiscalledbyGodtoteachHiswordisheldresponsibletobringthethingsthat
theytreasurethemosttoGod.
