Letter of transmittal
This report is the internship report of my role as an intern at the Tasheel. All the
facts and details are my personal observations and experiences. To work as an
intern at the Tasheel was a tremendous experience. I got a chance to visit almost
every department of Tasheel. Since, I was allowed to move inside the organization
freely being an intern, I was able to learn even more than I was expecting.
In a few days, I got personally involved with the organization and I was feeling
that I was a permanent employee of Tasheel. I tried hard to accomplish my goals
as instructed by my supervisor. I took all the ownership of my actions and I felt as
if I was a part of Tasheel.

TASHEEL
Introduction:
Tasheel is an online system which is owned and run by the government. Its goal and function is
designed to simplify all labor related processes. The primary objective is also to encourage an
environment free of papers. This system has proved to be highly efficient as it reduces costs and
increases output. It allows companies, various typing centers and the Ministry of Labor to make
payments through an online system. This reduces time and money which has resulted to be an
asset for the government.
The Ministry of Labor needs to print the official documents for each employee who is hired.
They also need to print the documents for the existing employees every year for the renewal of
employment contract or making changes in that contract. The physical paper work was hectic
and required a lot of time for processing. According to Ministry of Labor, the wastage of time
was the wastage of money and coming up with such a service was badly needed to make the
processes fast and convenient. This service has helped the government sector as well as the
private sector. The clients across UAE greatly value the importance of this service and not only
clients but the citizens of UAE are also at ease because of this efficient and unique service.
Through Tasheel, companies do not have to physically submit the documents and payments.
Critically, this is a tremendous achievement of the Ministry of Labor. It a huge advantage for the
companies as it facilitates the companies to manage their resources in an effective and most
efficient way. It reduces plenty of hurdles of the companies and brings peace of mind. Since, this
responsibility is taken up by Tasheel, companies have found to focus on other important aspects

of their businesses rather than wasting time and resources on submitting the documents and
payments physically.
Tasheel system provides pervasive services for its clients. These services cover all the
requirements and a full range of application process service along with the ease of making
payments through an online system. These services are highly in line with the requirements of
the Ministry of Labor. The quality standard maintained by Tasheel is one reason that
government is thinking to expand this system even wider to serve the people of UAE. The
Ministry of Labor has appointed a number of agents to operate across the Emirate. They have
emphasized the importance to opening up Tasheel service centers in most of the locations of
UAE to broaden the level of Tasheel services. Typically, the duties of an agent working at
Tasheel center are wide and vital in managing the system most appropriately. These services
are:
Registering new users by providing them with user ID and password
Ensuring error free transactions
Training clients for using Tasheel services
Providing technical assistance and support
Handling and sorting the applications updating them on online Tasheel system

Overview of Tasheel Services:


As per the ministry of Labor, Tasheel reflects a partnership between the government and private
sector to provide optimum services. Tasheel services were introduced in 2006 and since then, a
prominent boost in the opportunities for employing local men and women in the private sector is
observed. At present, Dubai has 28 Tasheel centers which are run by a force that includes 685
men and women. It is expected that nine new centers will be opened in Dubai shortly. In two
years, the rate of customer satisfaction has reached to 78% which is a result of consistent efforts
to improve the service. Ministry of Labor is focusing on to expand the number of Tasheel
services even wider. Tasheel services have greatly reduced the pressure and crowding from the
Ministry of Labor and government is trying to broaden this scope.
The minimum fixed monthly salary at Tasheel centers is Dh6000. There is 70-80% Emiratis
employed in these centers and the women working in these centers are even getting Dh26, 000
monthly salary. The first Tasheel center was opened in Ajman and after this; a number of
centers were opened in Sharjah and the North Emirates. The Ministry of Labor has ensured that
the standard of service remains the same across the country.

investigate in two ways; first, the relationship between the system and its progress.Next step for
the researcher is to find out the type of setting. Is it contrived or non-contrived?
In this study setting will be non-contrived. All data will be collected from associated
organization located in UAE. Study will be in natural environment to see the relationship
between, so it will be field study and field experiment.
For this research study Questionnaire will be designed with set of questions related to research
problem, to which respondent will answer with exactly definite alternatives.

Furthermore Questionnaire will be designed to test the hypotheses and to gather the relevant
information from the respondents of Tasheel associated organization process.
Moreover, in this research close ended form of questionnaire will be selected because
respondents find it interesting and easy to choose the options instead of giving random answers

UAE will be defined as target population from where sample will draw. But due to limitation of
time and funds it will not be possible to study all sectors. This symbolizes the major portion of
economy in country.
