Something for the ones who are curious about how the elements of astrology can relate to science

and
how THAT relation can relate to sociology. It's simple enough, but may take a few reads to follow in
full. Take your time so that you may understand.
The 4 Elements of Astrology: Fire, Water, Air, Earth.
Fire (scientifically referred to as heat) [ passion]
Water (scientifically referred to as liquid) [fluidity]
Air (I personally refer to this as entropic*) [freedom] since it is the result of random molecular energy
levels "touching" each other. Alternately, upon the basis that "Air" represents empty space and empty
space is scientifically known to be "lacking in order")
Earth (I'll refer to this as a geocentric solid**) [resilience] but prefer you think of dirt and rocks and
everything solid found in nature)When looking at the element of your sign, it is important to remember
that each physical element has a base set of LAWS (unchanging characteristics) that DEFINE it and
then a subset of characteristics that can generate variation depending on what it interacts with. In any
interaction between 2 or more people, each person has a base set of internal "LAWS" (morals, which
are usually unlikely to change) that govern how they behave. To an observer, a person's behavior
DEFINES them.
Fire/Water(heat/liquid)[passion/fluidity]
When heat enters a system and meets water at a neutral temperature in a system..water goes through
stages, first it warms, then it bubbles, then it steams, then it evaporates. When neutral water is brought
into a heated system and there is more water present than the heat within a system, water accepts,
extinguishes, or overwhelms the heat within the system.
When fire signs interact with water signs, the relationship on a sociological level is the same in a
SYMBOLIC way.
Fire signs who are "too hot to handle" (too impassioned to be dealt with) will often make water signs
come to a boil about a subject. Whether it be a fire sign heating (impassioning) them personally or
making them feel the heat (passion). Water signs who are too fluid (too easily changed by the
slightest change within or around them) will often dampen a fire signs flame. Whether it be directly
reducing the heat (passion) or taking it over completely. This is a simple example to follow when
thinking of fire/water sign interactions in a social sense.
[I also suggest looking up the word "impassion", it has many definitions and they are all applicable to
the given example]
Fire/Air(heat/entropy)
When heat enters empty space, the atoms in that space are excited and move about in a random fashion
unless another energy acts on it to force it to move in a specific direction.
