Hi all,
We have a program protected with a hardware key (HASP dongle) and now we can work without it
in a 32 bits OS. The program is mainly used with the whole department, and now wo can only work
on it once a time, because we don't find the way to emulate it, and we do not know where to start
with.
He used the HASPHL2007 and we already have the .dng file, tha someone created time ago. Bt we
can't make it work in Windows 7.
What do we have to do to make it work in Windows 7 (64 bits).
Please help me on this topic.
btw, the program is for civil engineering, and for traffic modeling.

First of all, get a dump of your key with this program:

lostdongle.com/bin/HaspHLDumper1.01.rar (repair URL, I can't post links)
This is the easiest way, but to go from the dump to a .reg file for your emulating software (vusbbus
or multikey) you will need the help from someone here, so you will have to post it.
If you want to put in the work and try on your own, find and use h5dmp.exe and unidumptoreg,
both of these are not too hard to find online.
If you already have an emulator working on Win32, you should not need a new dump. You just
have to get the emulator working on Win64 and maybe adjust the .reg file a bit. If this is the case,
try to find out which emulator you are using (search the machine for multikey, mkey, vusbbus,
vusbus) first. Then report back, I will try to help.

Thank you gilb,

I'm doing what you suggest first, (....dongle.com/bin/HaspHLDumper1.01.rar) and it didn't work. It
says:
"Can't open Driver"
The app. says somthing like Pass#1, Pass#2 and in rhe edit boxes these are the numbers, ABCD
and CD10. I change these numbers to those that HASPHL2007 says in the License (21DC0C3F) but
still the same message error.
I went to the page lostdongle and get a program 'HaspSrm Dumper 1.6' and this worked fine. The
info it says is as follow:

I don't know if it says somthing to you. It created three files as well,
srm_ro_mem.bin
srm_rw_mem.bin and
sysinfo.bin.
Now I do not know where to go now.
I'm using HASPHL2007.exe with a .dng file and it works fine in W7 32bits, but I can't find what type
of emulator I'm using. I thought it was HASPHL2007.
I have tried to find Multikeys for 64bits, but I cant find it easyly.
This is all I can say. Instruct me where to go next.
The key 'driver' is Aladdin Knowledge HASP HL 3.25 and all are made by SafeNet Inc.

Note that for the first step (creating the proper dump) you need a 32 bit system.

Also note that for actually installing and running multikey you need to press F8 during system boot
and select "disable driver signature enforcement". This is because Windows 7 only lets you use
signed drivers, and multikey uses an unsigned one because Microsoft takes money for signature
creation.
I have not tried this route myself, let me know if it works!

Thanks to all for your help.

At last it worked fine. I was on Christmas Holliday and I could not answer before.
I did all gilb suggest, but definily prenumele did with the solution.
I had do have installed the right version of drivers, and using something like Multikey (vusbbus.sys)
it finally worked very fine. I have to have my W7 in Test Mode, but it is not a problem, (you can
always take out the watermark) and it seems to be alright to all the eyes.
Thanks a lot for all the effort and the help everybody has provide me.
