Limited. and the entire Mega Bank Nepal Limited family for providing me the opportunity
of being a part of it as an internee. I would also like to thank Sujeet Dhakal (Branch
manager), Samiksha Pokhrel (Operation In charge) Rubina shakya (Teller), Vim Prasad
Pokhrel (Remittance), Sujan ale (Administrator) Shuvechchha Pant (CSD), Prakriti
Adhikari (CSD) at Baneshwor Branch who were very much cooperative and supportive
during my Intern Period.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Internship is the educational plan which integrates classroom knowledge and practical
work experience in industrial, Business or government work situations. It allows students
to have opportunity to imply academic theories and principle to action, to test our career
interests and to develop skills an abilities through carefully planned and supervised
programs related to the career of their choice
. In the process of analyzing the data MS excel was used. In order to perform the day to
day activities software called Oracle is used. The output of analyzing was that the
consumer deposit segment is very competitive due to the various competitive schemes of
other bank.
Through internship experience at mega Bank Limited, I was successful enough to achieve
my internship objective that was targeted and planned. I had to work at the New
Baneshwor Branch, where i got more exposure and more experience, and then I would
have in Head office, as fro my experience. I came to know that branch are generally
more open and it posses high opportunity for intern to learn banking function than in
Head Office. I finished my internship working under Customer Service Department and
in Remittance and I most compliment as a wonderful experience. During my internship
opportunity I was able to understand the corporate work culture, environment through
managerial perspective, being able to cooperate and comprehend the true concept of
working with people in a team. I observe and analyze different working procedure and
responding to their consumer. Generally I focused on CSD and remittance.
In the first chapter introduction describe about histry, role, and function of commercial
bank. Also, this part follows with the MBNL, with objectives, mission, vision and service
provided by MBNL and along with core objective of study of this study and methodology
used in this study.
The second chapter deal with overall presentation and analysis of data general deposit
ownership of bank, hold of customer, awareness of customer, behavior of staff, product
and service of mega etc.
The third chapter of this report is conclusion and recommendation.
