o Or Cold War (being scared of finding ourselves in a nuclear

o A lot of countries used to be part of another country we
dont want to go down that road- there has to be a
consequence
o NOW we want to impose economic sanctions on Russia
o Germany and EU have a close relationship with the US in
dealing with Russia right now. And the chancellor of Germany
and its foreign minister is playing a lead role if not the lead
role in this action.

on how Russia is acting with their economy and power (oil). I think Russia is
thinking about needing more nationalistic pride, which is good for the short

If a police officer who is dealing with an unknown situation, its

dark, somebody is screaming, assumption is that the person has a
gun. Guns are obscenely available. If you have more guns on the
street, you have more problems from both sides about guns.
American policing evolved. 15-20 years ago. Part of it is training.
You got people in scary situations who make bad situations. With
Ferguson is conflicting evidence. Minnesota, your House is your
Castle law. This law is getting repealed because of this incident of
the young German-Turkish foreign exchange student. The greatest

advocates of gun control are police men.
