The Pre UPTU exam dates are subject to the dates of end semester examination decided by UPTU.

Note:
1. PTM- There will be one PTM between 1st and 2nd class tests for all students and extra PTM can be arranged by
the respective departments for those students whose attendance and progress are not satisfactory.
2. Class Tests and attendance(i)

There will be two class tests and one Pre-UPTU exam in a semester. Duration of class test will be of
1 hour 30 minutes and the duration of Pre-UPTU exam will be on the same pattern of UPTU end
semester examinations. In Pre UPTU exam participation of all the students is mandatory. The PreUPTU exam dates are subject to the dates of end semester examination.

(ii)

There is no provision for makeup test except for any reason beyond the control of students, such as
illness, tragic incident in family; it will be the responsibility of the respective HODs to arrange class
tests for such students within 15 days of respective test conducted.

(iii)

The attendance criterion for 1st class test is 70

and for remaining tests/exams is 75 . In case, the

attendance is short, parents are to be informed by the respective HODs accordingly on monthly basis.
The attendance shall be counted from the date of admission in the college or start of academic session
whichever is later.
3. Tutorial/Assignment- Tutorial/Assignment should be taken on assignment copy only. No Tutorial/Assignment
is permitted on loose papers. After end of last class of the semester, index sheet should be submitted by the
student to the respective faculty of the subject.
