to improve my skills continuously, in order to meet the challenges of new millennium

WORK EXPERIENCE
The Ministry of Environment’s Pakistan Wetlands Program (October 2007 — Till Date)
1.
Working as a Research Officer (Indus River/ Indus River Dolphin Conservation and
Monitoring Climatic Variability and theirs impacts on Wetlands ) with following
responsibilities
• Conduct scientific survey based on dolphin habitat preferences, behaviours,
group size, current status and range
• Aware the stakeholders and local communities regarding the scientific value of
the dolphin specie
• Identify and evaluate threats pertaining and level of density and diversity
• Assess the climate change and its impacts on Indus river hydrology
• Using GIS, GPS, Depth Sounder and other tools for modelling the river and
dependant biodiversity
• Designing Constructed Wetlands for sewage water treatment and promotion of
Sustainable Sanitation
• Restoring Wetlands, streams and enhancing their biodiversity
• Monitoring Ramsar Significant Wetlands hydrology, hydro- climatology and
hydrogeology
• Studying lakes Morphometry and Bathymetry for generating lakes profile

Worked as a Project Manager with following responsibilities for implementation two
UNICEF Emergency Response Education projects

• Responsible for staff orientation regarding project objectives and goals and
preparation initial project deliverables tracking charts and means of verification
• Responsible for preparation weekly, bi-monthly and monthly progress reports to
donor and warehouses inspection reports, and team member's performance
report on weekly and monthly basis to Head Office and UNICEF Office.
• Preparation project extension documents and amendments in project proposal
and adding “Note for The Record” to Project Cooperation Agreement (PCA)
• Preparing of proper assessment and distribution plan and ensure that proper and
adequate Logistical arrangements are made in conjunction with the distribution
plans.
• Attending Bi-monthly Progress Review meeting among all UNICEF IPs, and
monthly ECG with Higher Govt. Bodies like DRU, DEO, DCO etc
• Responsible for field office, vehicle and warehouses management.
• Co-ordinate and liaise with local authorities on ground, relevant government
officials and other Humanitarian Agencies.
• Insure that all documentation and records pertaining to the beneficiary
registration is updated periodically with relevant information.
• To ensure the community participation in projects and proper solution of any
problems in the field to the entire satisfaction of community and organizational
rules.
• Writing Project Proposal and Concept Notes to donors
• Preparation of GIS based thematic maps to different project attributes
