Have you ever wondered why you have bad thoughts and why negative thoughts can sometimes

over
power. And how do we counteract them.
Where does these thoughts come from?
1. Why do we have negative thoughts?
Lets go back to the Garden of Eden
When Adam and Eve were created it was Heaven on earth and they carried the image and likeness of
God within their spirit, which was formed in them (Zech. 12:1), they had a pure heart and clear mind and
a perfect soul.
They were following the Word of God, Do not eat of the tree, and there is no Condemnation to those
who are in Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:1), (Jesus was the Word that was with God and was God) in the
beginning and God gave Adam his Word that if he ate of the tree He would die.
There were no negative thoughts, no hatred, no lust, no murder, and there was no thought, will or
desire contrary to God.
Saying Adam had free will at this point is a false Doctrine, Adam had freedom, there was no free will,
FREE WILL REQUIRES A CONTRARY THOUGHT OR DESIRE. Adam and Eve were not capable of having a
contrary thought or desire because a contrary thought or desire does not exist in God and Adam and Eve
were created in His image and likeness. They never had a thought to eat of the tree, they never had a
thought that exalted itself above the Knowledge of God exist in them.
God did not give Adam a choice to eat of the tree, God commanded Adam to not eat of the tree.
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall
surely die. (Genesis 2:16-17)
This was a Commandment from God it was not a free will choice, for example: When you tell your child,
Do not get any plumbs of the tree today, you are not giving your child free will, but as we exist today,
something in your child will tell you child how sweet the plumbs are, and will also tell your child that
when you go to the store, you will not notice one plumb gone off the tree.
This is what we call the FREE WILL doctrine, but there is so much more to it.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, I am Almighty
God; walk before Me and be blameless. Genesis 17:1
God expected Adam and Eve to walk before Him blameless, He did not plan on them to fail, because
there was no failure in their creation, they were in the image and likeness of God and there is no failures
in God.

Then the serpent, who was Satan, began to talk with Eve, while Adam was with her (Gen. 3:6), so to say
Adam did not hear the lie that was told to Eve is an injustice.
The Serpent said to Eve: Has God indeed said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Eve responded: We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in
the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.
Then the Serpent said: You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will
be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.
Now when the Serpent told Eve this lie, reveals that the serpent was actually Satan, He was a murderer
from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a
lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it (John 8:44).
Once Satan told Eve this lie, validity was needed to be added in order to persuade them to believe, So he
told them they would become like God knowing good and evil. He taught them something, and what he
taught them went against the Word of God, he planted a seed in their minds A THOUGHT.
It is crucial to understand where this thought began to dwell, it began to dwell in their physical brain,
they had been taught that they would become like God. Once this no good thought, (the thought that
they could become like God) began to dwell in their minds, a conception took place, EVIL DESIRE (SIN
NATURE), the serpents seed, Satans seed.
Then, when desire has conceived, (James 1:15a).
Once the conception of the sin nature took place within the physical brain (Flesh) of Adam and Eve, it
immediately created a line of communication into the hearts of Adam and Eve.
Among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the
flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the other (Ephesians 2:3).
So that my heart has been secretly enticed, (Job 31:27).
Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life (Pro. 4:23).
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness (Rom. 10:10a).
Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God
(Hebrews 3:12).

A mans heart plans his way, (Pro.16:9a).

The line of communication that was established between the sin nature and the heart of Adam and Eve,
which was the part of their soul, that contains the issues of life (Pro. 4:23), plans the way they should go
(Pro. 16:9), and chooses to believe or not to believe (Rom. 10:10), was secretly enticed by this No
Good Thing, the Sin nature then caused an evil imagination to take place in the hearts of Adam and

Eve, the imagination of the thoughts of their heart was evil (Genesis 6:5, part).
Once this Evil imagination began to be in their hearts, Eve began to see the tree from a different view
point. When Eve first spoke to the serpent, she could not eat of the tree or touch it, but once the sin
nature (Evil Desire) was conceived in her, she began to see the tree as something to desire. This evil
desire caused an imagination within her heart and she began no longer see the tree as something she
could not eat or touch but began to see the tree as being good for food, something that would make
here wise.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a
tree to be desired to make one wise, (Gen. 6:6, a-b).

This evil imagination in the heart of Eve gave birth to Sin,

Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, (James 1:15, a-b)
Jesus describes this best, He say if you look on a woman lust after a women, you have already
committed adultery in your heart.
Once Eve began to image the tree as something good for food, Sin was birthed into her heart.

Once sin was given birth to within the heart of Eve, Sin, which was first establish by the conception of
Evil Desire then need to achieve its goal.
Romans 7:8.But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil
desire. For apart from the law sin was dead.
Sin now that is was born from the conception of evil desire and the imagination of evil, produced in Eve
all manner of evil desire.
All manner of evil desire consisted of the thought Eve had that the tree would make her wise.
Example, some finds a wallet with a thousand dollars and they get the thought to keep the wallet, (This
is the conception of Evil Desire), then they imagine putting the wallet in their pocket and walking
away,(Sin has been birthed into the soul), then they began to think about how they will spent the
money, pay bills, but gifts, Etc. (this is all manner of evil desire produced by the sin in them).
Once Sin produced all manner of Evil desire in Eve, She then took the fruit and ate, Sin was able to
deceive her, for sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me (Romans 7:11a).
Sin was able to deceive her into eating of the tree, because of the Law that she should not eat of the
tree. , (Eve walked with the Sin Nature, She walked with the thought that exalted itself above God, and
Eve walked with the Flesh (THE THOUGHT THAT DWELT IN HER BRAIN, HER FLESH). The Serpents Seed.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise
thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel (Genesis 3:15).
Once Eve Ate from the tree, the thought from the sin nature (The Serpents seed), which was conceived
in her (James 1:15a), caused her to think about eating of the tree, (WHAT WE CALL FREE WILL, WHICH
WE SAY COMES FROM GOD), (which actually comes from a thought that exalts itself above God, a
thought process that was not in them when God created them). This thought gave birth to sin in her
heart (James 1:15b), which cause her to imagine the tree as good for food (Gen. 6:5) this caused all
manner of evil desire (Rom. 8:7), and this evil desire deceived her (Rom 7:11), and once she was
deceived she ate from the tree.
For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me (Romans 7:11, a-b).
Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death
(James 1:15, a-b-c). Eve allowed sin to become full grown and it killed her, it lived through her and she
died.
Sin (THE SPIRIT OF DISOBEDIENCE) the Sin that God speaks of in Genesis 4:7. Telling Cain, who was now
born with this nature, If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin
lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
Because mankind did not understand the Image we are created in, We have called this Spirit of
Disobedience, the sin nature, human nature, while God who created us is telling Cain it is not who he
was, He is telling Cain that it lies at the door and it has a desire for us, but we have been calling it us.
There is much more but this is long enough.
