Best Lawyers is the oldest and one of the most respected peer-review publications in the legal
profession. Because it is peer reviewed, selection of an attorney or law firm to a Best Lawyers list is
regarded by both clients and experienced attorneys as a noteworthy honor. Best Lawyers lists have
established a reputation as a reliable, unbiased source of information among the legal profession, the
media, and the general public. U.S. News & World Report creates its Best Lawyers lists by conducting
exhaustive peer-review surveys of tens of thousands of accomplished lawyers who confidentially
evaluate their professional peers.
It is a tremendous honor just to be selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers In America list. I have
been fortunate to have the opportunity to employ my prior experience as a nurse and my 24 years as an
attorney to help my medical malpractice clients in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, Evans
said. I am humbled by this recognition and thank my professional peers for selecting me.
