Tracking Number: In addition to submittal number, furnish a

Overhead Contact System (OCS): A complete overhead system for


supporting a wire by catenary suspension, including but not limited to
poles, support assemblies, OCS conductors and cables, and tensioning
devices.

2.

Manhole, Vault, or Handhole: An enclosure, typically made of pre-cast


concrete and covered with a single or split-type lid, used to facilitate
cable pulling through conduit or duct systems. The term pull box may
also be used for this type of enclosure, or may refer to a metal
enclosure.

3.

Salvage: Work required to disassemble and load removed equipment,


transport to the RT storage facility, offload and make ready for inventory.

4.

Traction Power System: All equipment and materials from points of


receiving power from the utility to points of use of that power by light rail
vehicles. The equipment includes TPSS, overhead contact system,
positive and negative cabling, and related accessories.

existing positive feeders and negative returns from TPSS-08.
