the number of new and enhanced business functions has steadily increased. The most recent
one, EHP 6 for SAP ERP 6.0, contains 694 business functions: 177 of these are completely
new improvements, and the rest are all the functions previously released in EHPs 2, 3, 4, and
5.

For example, processors can send payments to other users for approval, or they can be
allowed to release items under a certain amount for direct payment. Administrators determine
which employees can act as approvers and at what level.
