Synopsis
This course aims to provide fundamentals knowledge to design piping systems for oil and gas
transmission and distribution. These include gas pipeline design, engineering, fabrication,
installation, testing and commissioning, as well as the gas pipeline network analysis. Students will
also be exposed on the requirements for installation, codes and standards used in the design and
installation of gas systems. Other relevant topics such as welding, corrosion control, odorizer
system and gas metering skids will also be introduced.
