Introduction:
English Language Teaching Reforms (ELTR) Phase-II, a project of Learning Innovation Division, Higher Education
Commission, Islamabad is organizing 02 International Resource Person (IRP) trainings of one week long duration on
Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in collaboration with US Embassy from December 08-19, 2014 for
English faculty of Public Sector Universities and Colleges.

Eligibility Criteria:

Fulltime/ Permanent English teacher of public sector universities/colleges.

At least one year experience of teaching English at Graduate/Post Graduate level.
Minimum of 16 year of education.
Within the Age limit of 50 years.

How to Apply:
The candidates need to submit the Registration Form (Attached) duly signed by the Head of Department/ Principal or
Nominating Authority along with CNIC copy and one passport size photograph.

Closing Date:
Duly filled registration form (as enclosed) must reach to the office November 28, 2014, by 03:00 PM.

Benefits:

The participants will be awarded HEC-US cobranded certificate.

The training will cover tuition fee of IRP, stationery, reading materials, refreshment and working
lunch.
DA is not admissible. Travelling Allowance (TA) will be admissible to the participants as per HEC
rules with condition to provide original tickets/itinerary. Travel by air, personal car, rent a car will
not be acceptable.
Accommodation will be provided subject to the availability only to outstation participants on
request.
Only Short listed candidates will be informed to attend the training program.
