discusses how the child poverty rate rose in 1996 but some progression has been made
since then. Governments have tried programs to combat this tragedy, however, nothing
seems to be working. This article also tells how children in underprivileged communities
are worse off than children that are not in these environments. Children with disabilities
are not being given the same treatment as disabled children outside these communities
and the same goes for children without infliction.
