With RSView32, you can simply open the tag browser and
select the ladder logic tags you need from an Allen-Bradley
PLC or SLC database without importing the entire database,
or import and export the entire database at once. And to make
it easy to organize and reuse your tags, RSView32 provides a

Graphic displays
With the RSView32 drawing tools, you can create simple objects
such as ellipses and rectangles, or create more complex objects
such as trends and alarm summaries. Use the RSView32 libraries,
which contain many commonly used graphics, or use objects that
have already been created in other drawing packages such as
AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, and so on. The ActiveX Toolbox provides
convenient storage of frequently used ActiveX objects in a customizable toolbox for quick
access when creating graphic displays.

Alarm monitoring
Configure alarms for digital and analog tags, and use alarm summaries to display alarm
information. Customize the summaries with color, sorting, and filters.

Event detection
Events are RSView32 expressions that trigger actions. The expressions are equations
containing tag values, mathematical operations, if-then-else logic, and other built-in functions.
Actions are commands or macros. Use event detection events to set up your project to react to
system or process occurrences with automated responses.

Logging
Track system information at runtime using activity logging, alarm logging, and data logging.
ODBC database support lets you log RSView32 tag data to an ODBC-compliant database,
such as SQL Server or Microsoft Access, as well as to dBase IV. Alternate paths log data to a
secondary path if the primary path is full or becomes unavailable.

Security
Set up project-level and system-level security. Project-level security allows you to limit users or
groups of users from accessing certain displays or changing particular tag values. System-level
security allows you to lock users into your RSView32 project so they cannot exit to the Windows
operating system.

Trending
A trend is a visual representation of real-time or historical tag values and provides operators
with a way to track plant activity as it is happening. The new ActiveX control, RSView32 TrendX,
provides enhanced real-time and historical trending for up to 100 tags on a single trend with
extensive, flexible runtime capabilities. RSView32 also offers native trending for up to 16 tags on
one trend.

You can replace any text string, such as a tag name,
an expression, or an RSView32 command associated with a
