TGM planetary gearboxes are built according to international standards, and the
projects make use of the most advanced calculation software currently available.
This ensures total control of all parameters (gearing, lubrication, cooling, speed
control, choice of couplings).
RPZ/RPS gearboxes are built with a specific number of stages to meet the
desired transmission ratio. Each stage may comprise three, four or five planetary
gears to ensure a smooth operation. The gearbox is driven by an electric motor
or steam turbine. It is also equipped with a torque-limiting system in order to
protect all parts of the mechanical set from overloads.
The final coupling with the driven machine is accomplished by means of a
shrink disk, a flange, or as otherwise specified by the purchaser. This allows
for complete control of the torque when the set is assembled and ensures its
maximum performance.

The sugar and ethanol Line

The planetary gearboxes in the

especially for use in sugarcane mills.
This allows for optimum use of the
adjustments afforded by the mill
bearing (maximum and minimum
triangulation) without interferences
from the gearbox casings.
