South Korea also known as Korea Republic is a unique country located in north
East Asia. South Korea is about 2 times smaller than Australia and packed with
about 50 million people. South Koreas most busy city is its capital city Seoul,
home to President Mr Park Geun-Hye. South Koreans main language spoken is
Korean and main Religions are Shamanism, Confucianism, Islam and Christianity.

If you are a sports fan the national sport of Korea is soccer it is the most
popular sport played in the country. South Korea qualified for the 2014 Fifa
world cup, they had a decent performance but unfortunately finished last in
their group. There is a big national league in Korea that attracts many fans and
packed stadiums.
South Korea occupies the southern part of the Korean peninsula and it is
surrounded by Russia, China, Japan and North Korea. South Korea is mountains
and only 20% of land is big enough for farming this can be an issue for some
farmers.

South Korea is very cultural when it comes to food. They have a unique and
interesting national dish called Kimchi. It is a pungent usually served hot with a
mixture of pickled vegetables mostly radish. Koreans have many national dishes
Kimchi being the most popular. Rice is incorporated in many of Korean dishes
just like any other Asian country.

sport, population and food. The most popular
time of year to visit is spring because it is just
right weather.

will make them lots of money to export
thins like cars, cargo ships and LCDs and
import all sorts of goods.
