All mounting components are to be made of hot galvanized steel and of suitable strength and appropriate
dimension.
Safety installations (Soell security system) for the personal climbing and working on the MW antenna pole
has to be installed, according to the safety regulations and their amendments valid in the Czech Republic.
If a Soell safety system is installed the needed interchange and get off services has also to be installed. The
Soell security system has to be installed at free standing MW antenna poles with a height of more than 5 m
above floor level.

Outside of the BTS equipment room but inside of the building (indoor) the PUK RGS 60 20 - S or
comparable (until 3 cables) and the RGS 60 40 S or comparable (more than 3 cables) has to be used for
horizontal cable installation
Outside of the building the PUK RGS 60 20 - F or comparable (until 3 cables) and the RGS 60 40 F or
comparable (more than 3 cables) has to be used for horizontal cable installation
If there is a risk, that someone could step on the cables or could damage it, the cable tray has to be covered
with the cover RDR-20 S or RDR-40 S or comparable outside of the BTS equipment room, but inside of the
building.
Outside of the building the cable tray has to be covered with the cover RDR-20 F or RDR-40 F or
comparable to protect the cables against e.g. falling ice, unauthorized touch.
For horizontal cable installation outside of the building the cable tray has to be fixed on concrete stones of
instructed dimensions. The cable tray will be screwed to the stones, the distance between the stones is max.
2 m. The stones have to stand on a fixed ground (e.g. not on gravel)
In inaccessible places outside of the building the cables could be fixed only on stones with C-bars (e.g.
INOX) and clamps and in the case of vertical cable installation inside and outside of the building the cables
will be fixed only with C-bars and clamps. The minimum wide of the C-bars and clamps should be 40 cm.
The distance between the C-bars have to be not more than 60 cm.
If it is inevitable to project the cables against unauthorized touch the PUK cable tray RG 110-20 F (until 3

damages (e.g. it has to be resistance against pressure, UV-resistant, resistance against decay). The
minimum deep under ground has to be 80 cm.
The cable tray shall be connected to the lightning protection system.
If the galvanization of the cable tray or the cable tray coverage will be damaged by cutting it has to be
deburred and covered by zink-painting.
