Ok since many are asking questions abt preparation time and what were th

questions like i would give a detailed answer to that.

I took 3 months to prepare. Virajitha rao was my study partner. We did decks, tufts,
old and new papers and the remembered questions file as well as mosbys and USC
file and insurance codes. First one and a half month we tried to complete decks
once.. we tried to do it as properly as we could. After finishing decks we started with
papers and we did most of the old papers. we did pharmac from decks in the
beginning but since i am very weak weak i decided to do tufts alone! now i will
break the subject and questions asked.

Endodontics- Many questions on pulp vitality and treatment. Apexification,

apexogenesis when will you do it and why? Decks are enough. But i would ask
everyone to go through mosby once. U need to know ur concepts properly thts what
i think.. as all questions would have something or th other to do with root
completion and age.

Periodontics- here u need to know in detail abt pockets and when will u use flaps
and principles of flap. know abt the differences between chronic and aggresive
periodontitis. know abt plaque and calculus and when they form and why.. and red
complex of bacteria. Decks are enough

Pedodontics- do pulp therapy and space maintainers. the table for eruption and
calcification. Decks are enough.

Pharmac- Tufts is enough! u will get 2-3 vague questions but u can find out the
answer if u have done tufts from every nook and corner of it! i was heavily tested on
nsaids, opioids and BZDS. they asked all sort of questions with different medical
conditions.

Prostho- The most vague of all!! study whatever u can but if u dont know why are
u doing that particular thing than it can be tough. know the impression materials as
well as basic principles of RPD and FPD. few questions on occlusion too.

Pt management- Ah! some questions are like u r giving the toughest TOEFL exam
with few words u need to have a dictionary with you! Do mosbys, USC file and
insurance codes. many questions on ethics too! and many questions which are
based on general knowledge!

Orthodontics- know when will you do frenectomy or crossbite correction etc! very
few questions on ortho. Decks more than enough!

Opath- Heavily tested! and they include opath questions with pedo and endo. so
beware!!! know which disease occurs at which age. u need to know decks properly
as well as the radio and clinical appearance! i got around 7 pictures for identifying.

oral surgery- know the medical conditions well and how will you treat them. know
the signs and symptoms of all the toxicities. i got a question on toxicity having 6
options!! asthma, COPD, syncope and know everything about nitrous oxide! we are
dentists we need to know the common medical conditions occurring in our dental
office!

Radio- mostly radiographs.. we need to identify what is it.. know the OPGs very
well. many questions of identification on opg!
