CCSD Human Resources:

It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my resume to be considered for a full time elementary
teaching position with the Clark County School District. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary
Education from Nevada State College, as well as an Associates of Arts in Elementary Education
from the College of Southern Nevada. My experience and commitment to providing students
with high quality, researched based instruction, will make me the right candidate for the position.
The Clark County school district is the fifth largest school district in the nation, which also
includes a diverse student population. During my educational training, I have had the
opportunity to work in a variety of schools across the valley and experience the diverse needs of
these students. This has provided me with the advantage to examine students needs and
integrate instructional strategies which best support higher academic achievement.
Throughout my educational studies, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. I believe this demonstrates
my knowledge in content related pedagogy, as well the ability to develop high quality lesson
plans and instructional materials. My extensive years in management will be beneficial in
structuring time wisely and providing an effective classroom management environment.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon
in order to move forward with an interview. I have a true passion for teaching, and will strive to
prepare students to be successful and prepared to contribute in a diverse global economy.

Respectfully yours,

Michele Stering
