FEAST DAYS: MONTH OF DECEMBER: During
the month of December the Holy Orthodox Church
celebrates the following Feast days.
December 4th: Entry of the Theotokos: Divine
Liturgy at 10 AM. Please make an effort to attend!
December 19th: Feast of the Wonderworker Saint
Nicholas: Please be reminded that the Divine Liturgy
will be celebrated at 10AM on both of these feast
days. Please make an effort to be present for both
these feast days.
GENERAL CONFESSION: General Confession will
be served on Sunday, December 7th. Please make an
effort to be with us beginning at 9:30AM. This is a
great time to reconcile with Our Lord and receive the
Body and Blood of Our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ.

ADULT EDUCATION / CHURCH SCHOOL

CLASSES: Church School classes will be held during
the month of December at 9:15AM on December 14th.
We need you to be present as we usher in our
preparation for the Feast of the Nativity.
PARISH ASSESSMENT IS NOW DUE FOR 2014.
Please be reminded that your parish dues is due now
for 2014. In order to be a good member in standing
of Saint Marys the dues of $145 is due now. Please
see Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk to make
this contribution.
LITURGICAL NEEDS: The following items are
needed for the upcoming year 2015. Please see
Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk to offer one of
these items for liturgical use.
Paraffin (oil for candles on altar) $350
Wine for Divine Liturgy: $300
Charcoal: $250
Incense: $250
NEW Altar Covers: $2500: We have $1500 donated
last year.

PROCESSION: $500
FLOWERS FOR THE FEAST OF THE NATIVITY:
We will begin accepting donations towards the
purchase of flowers for the Feast of the Nativity. If
you would like to contribute towards this initiative
please see Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk to
help defray the cost of these flowers.
NEWSLETTER SPONSORS FOR 2015: Each
month it has been our goal to inform our faithful
about what is going on in the parish and our diocese.
This Newsletter has been a welcome edition to our
parish and has been very informative. You the
faithful have responded to our request to sponsor
this Newsletter each and every month. We are now
soliciting sponsors for the upcoming year 2015. Cost
to sponsor this Newsletter per month this year is only
$50.00. Please see Matushka Ludmila at the candle
desk to reserve your month.
FEAST OF THE NATIVITY LUNCHEON: On
Wednesday, January 7th after the Divine Liturgy we
as a parish family will gather in the Parish home to
break bread and share Christian fellowship. If you
would like to contribute towards this dinner it would

be greatly appreciated. Please see Matushka Ludmila

to contribute towards this luncheon and help defray
the cost of food and baked goods.
BRING A FRIEND TO CHURCH: This plea is being
made to you the faithful! Encourage your relatives to
attend services faithfully. It is our Christian duty to
help others find Our Lord and Savior. As we end the
year of 2014 let us take the time to invite someone to
church and welcome them back with open hearts in
the year of 2015. We need to extend a hand and invite
them to attend the Divine Liturgy with you. By doing
this we may encourage one or many to return to
where they belong!
CALENDARS FOR 2015: Calendars for the
upcoming year will be available on the candle desk.
Please pick one up this month and take a few to
distribute to your relatives. We need to spread the
word about our parish and look to build our roster of
faithful.
WE NEED PARISH COUNCIL MEMBERS: Think
about serving as a Parish Council member. No
experience necessary!
