Skills & Experience required
Good overall 12- 15 years of IT experience and 8 - 10 years project mana
gement experience in Data warehousing and Business Intelligence field in Telecom
/ Media projects.

Should have managed at least 3 to 4 large data warehousing projects in T


elecommunications / Media with best of the breed technologies like Teradata, Net
ezza, Informatica, Business Objects, Hyperion, Big data, SAS Analytics etc.,.

Prior presales experience will be highly preferred

Experience in leading-edge techniques applicable to DWBI Architecture, s


ystem environments and Data warehouse planning, Effort estimations

Experience in interacting with domain experts to understand external bus


iness factors and design new strategies on how they can be addressed by applying
data warehouse architecture techniques

Ability to link business issues with technical solutions

Support development of engagement strategy, including statement of work


development, Budget, Resource Planning and risk assessments

Should possess extensive working knowledge and acumen in the employment


enterprise architecture best practices, including, but not limited to, logical a
nd physical data architectures, operating systems, applications, data base serv
ers, ETL / OLAP servers, server consolidation, server network and storage perfor
mance, capacity planning.

Showcase deep understanding of Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, T


elecommunications / Media domain understanding.

Lead initial sales effort with Vertical/ GTM teams/ Business Development
Managers;

Lead initial sales effort with Business Development Managers; Conduct So


lutions Identification, and Manage Project from start to finish.

Understand requirements from RFP/Customer meetings and provide optimal s


olution, sizing & estimate for the same

Responsible for creating or selecting the most appropriate architecture


and technology stack after thorough interaction with OEMs, Customer & Internal s
takeholders

Interact with CXO and Sr. Management of customer and build trust in our

technical capabilities

Interact with partners and vendors for product and solution evaluation

Interact with internal LOBs and Product teams on optimization of Bill of


Material

Interact with Delivery teams on efforts vetting

Own the pre-sales cycles end-to-end from RFP to Proposal, Presentation a


nd supporting sales team in commercials discussion. Be single point of contact f
or practice

Build internal competency on selected technology stacks

Should be willing to take up travel both long term / short term
