Communications Manager will be responsible for internal and external

communications for the MENA region.

- Develop implementation plans at the OPU (operating unit) level for the
communications strategy
- Work to develop articles, news pieces and one to one interview to generate

positive news about company and its brands

- Act as the main focal point for media.

- Manage the local social media channels and provide monitoring reports

- Approve social media activities requested by the different brands

- Responsible for media monitoring on a local level

- Manage company website and other electronic communications

- Develop and enhance good media relationships

- Write, edit and translate press material, press releases, statements, briefing

books, Q&As and announcements

- Organize press conferences, media briefings and media events
- Prepare press kits
- Provide all the internal approvals required for all the press material
- Report and share the internal news/events to be posted on intranet
- Manage local CSR activities
- Responsible for the engagement of the MMH fellows
- Develop and enhance relationships with health authorities for public
relations and CSR activities
- Seek and implement tie ups and partnerships for business support
- Implement the PR activities stated in the brand plans
- Manage Communications budget at the OPU (operating unit) level
- Manage local PR agency and third parties
- Arrange for all activities required to fly media to participate in
global/regional press conferences/events
- Provide media training for spokespersons and ensure they are always
ready for media requests

- Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Arabic, in both

written and oral forms. French language is a plus
- Knowledge of Healthcare industry is a plus
- Candidate should be a social media literate and able to communicate
through different Social Media/Online channels
- Excellent writing and speaking skills in addition to strong reading
comprehension
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Event management
- Organized, deadline and detailed oriented, creative, multi-task and can
handle high stress situations
- Ability to work in a team
- Computer Skills, must but not limited to MS Office applications

Journalism, Mass Communications, Public Relations or related fields
